Freddie

Freddie

Couples 100-1 win, 50-1 place, 25-1 show

Freddy is a sentimental, delusional play and a waste of money, but the cinderella aspect would be so damn fun that I just can't pass it up.
GLTA!

Not so far fetched anymore. Certainly not a waste of money at this point.

thanks Chip...probably jinx myself, but I'm digging my Briny and Dustin action as well....
bad news is that my inside info out there at the course is telling me that Dustin has new side beaver every damn night....not condusive to trophys.
Ted Tryba used to do the same thing here....leaderboard on Thurs and Fris....and chicks( blond bimbos) until 5am and an 82 the next day..
If i was 26 , I'd be right with them!

At 26, I can't blame Dustin for taking advantage of the opportunity as well. Now lets see if he can handle it differently than others who have walked down that path previously.

This leave more time to Party, now I really I was going,

The threat of thunderstorms in the area has caused tournament officials to move to groups of three for the third round with starts coming out of both Nos. 1 and 10. Tee times will move to 7:30 a.m. through 9:30 a.m. and the expected time of finish is 2:30 p.m

The Byron Nelson Championship for Saturday, May 23rd.

Tournament Matchups for 18 holes for the Third Round only :

One Unit :

Jesper Parnevik over Fred Couples @ + 105. Lost by 2.

Charles Howell III over Fred Couples @ - 125. Lost by 1.

James Driscoll over James Nitties @ - 125. Lost by 1.

Lost the last four plays by a combined 5 strokes. You'd think one of them could go the other way. I'd do much better if I just eliminated all my "action" one unit plays. I've done much better the last few weeks on the multi unit plays but the singles are killing me.

However, true to form, the last play considered but ruled out was a 3 stroke winner in Mike Weir over Davis Love III. Now that's the frustating part.

Vs. Stanley

Vs. Stanley

Hate going against you, Stanley. Certainly don't have that comfort feeling when I do.
Went against you in the Mallinger/Duke matchup as I'm thinking John can win this whole tournament.
Also faded Sabbatini with Allenby in my biggest matchup of the day.
We'll see, but I'd feel much better if you were on my sides.
Good luck...just not today, lol.

1st hole

1st hole

Naturally as I write the above, Ken Duke birdies the first hole.
Also Dustin birdies it while Jesper bogeys it.
Not the start I was hoping for.

Mallinger

Mallinger

Thanks. I'll mark that down too and see how he fares in it today.
If he struggles, it is certainly something I'll look for in the future.

I'm so disapointed in Dustin's finish. 16th hole, par five that Freddy had eagled a few groups earlier...Dustin is back left of the green in 2, about 12 yards from the hole and takes four shots from there to get home. Horrible. Shit, I can do that. Then he drives it in the water on 18 for a bogey. Really bad finish.
Briny had a bad back nine as well, after a great start. Freddy is too far back at 8 under.
My guys can get there, but they need to play really well....Sabbs is looking good.
