Franklin? This was ONE MILLION per cent on Allar. He plays average they win by DDs
0 connects to wide receivers, which was consistent for the season. That's hard to work with, especially with a fast Notre Dame turnover machine defense. Still they were right there without the last int..

How so?

Based on the early numbers out there (7.5 / 8 ) or because nd usually is juiced a few extra points? Not disagreeing just curious what you mean..
I think it’s a particularly good matchup it’s all about matchups. Nd is always inflated a little yes but I don’t see a single area notre dame will have an advantage in that game.

Ohio st may be in deep tonight tho. Nd vs Texas a totally different story

Yeah the narrative is this nd team is “different” but the reality is their path has been 3 teams with a combined 3- 5 record against top 10 teams this year, 3- 8 now after losing to ND, and uga had all 3 of those wins (tex 2x and tenn).

They are fastER and toughER than the legendary Irish teams of the last 20 years, that wind up on the wrong end of a smackdown only bested by TCU / UGA , but they got pushed around last night by a psu team that gets beat up by OSU.

The ND schedule has been unusually light the last few years, i feel like the last 3 games are among the highest ranked teams theyve faced since 2020-21, and IU, Georgia and psu were all teams, that like ND, have never been in the top 3-4 in odds to win it all at any point this season.

But i do think we saw then play a terrible half against a very good team, and then pull it together and get a W. Its fair to say psu handed it to them rather than they earned it, but psu was handed 10 points and had 2 red zone int’s wiped away by refs, one the flag didnt even come out until the ball was picked off by Christian Gray,

Almost every team has a hard time putting together 4 great quarters in a game, or their A game week after week, even the very best.

This isnt just OSU impressing after ending the year on a multi year llow, this is the reality of what OSU was most of the year, and ppl are over reacting in amazement like they overreact to every loss in the reg season.. the reg season which is forever devalued and changed from the way it was, the hunt for undefeated or best 1 loss teams, etc, now we punish undefeated with an ohio state rematch in a quarter final game and have teams with inexcusable losses that can get to the title game.

i wasnt sure how to value ohio state since the playoff started, i mean i felt like i had a handle on them most of 2024, won big on them vs indiana, got some incredible money lines in that struggle at Wisconsin, and had oregon +3 in the first meeting, and felt like i got lucky winning that, as it felt like the wrong side most of that night.

Thanks

Edit; correction, that was oregon i got at like +200 at Wisconsin. Im on fumes, some great tennis betting had me up past 4:30am
