You know the sad truth is about 100 mill of the Chines people know about this. The other 1 bill don't and would not give a shit. The reason is they don't have a life anyway. The China gov will get a few to go in the street and looked pissed. They will pay them a little for that and give them all at-a-boys. Or they give some of the youngs ones a half day out of school. It's all BS and show. WE will stand our ground in the open. The deal will be made behind the doors. But make no mistake about how the China gov thinks about us and that part of the world. They believe more then Tiawan belongs to them. They also believe they have the right to drill for oil up to 300 miles off there cost. They would love for more of our companies to build plants there. They want it all one way. The sad thing is. It started back with Nixon. No one has stop it. I dont give a shit who was in the white house. We have to as Fletch said stop roleing over. They need us more then they think. Who do they think will buy from them. No one like we do. See we can hurt them just by not buying anything that says made in China.
Saturday, is even louder. And even if they are not. 22 members of our wonderfull Congress still will make there previous schd trip there. We will of course being the tax payers pay for there trip. Just going there to see what other materials we can trade with them. In other words with the trade ballance way in there favor already. How we can loose are asses some more. Makes me sick when I live with fellow close minded Americans who can't tolerate input that doesn't share their views regardless of whether or not it comes from another country. We are a democracy, that is part of it chief. Hoops is just as American as some of you bad asses bomb them all posters are. Some of your info is not correct. Starting with Clinton. He had no say in the matter. And Bush did not either. The story is much longer then that. If I have to tell it I might. But I don't see that it matters. The main thing is getting those folks out of there. I for one don't think our 22 congress members need to go there today either. But they say this trade mission has been scheduled for 4 months. Why so they can go kiss some Chines ass. Beg them to sell us some more cheap shit. Beg them to take some more jobs away from us. Hey these are members from both parties. They should have cancelled that trip 5 days ago.

Been reported today that the Chinese are now admitting that the US plane WAS in international airspace. It also should be quite visible that the Chinese pilot caused the damage to both his aircraft as well as the Unites States. Really only question I have is why in the hell aren't they on their way home????

hi-de ho again friends, just got done reading through this thread and wanted to take a moment to respond.
I felt a few things reading through this thread.
1. a little bit of pride in the point that people keep saying send over the bombs, and well, that is me these days.... right on the tip of the spear.
2. utter disgust at some of the comments made by some of the people. utter DISGUST! Patriotism and national pride should NOT, i repeat, NOT be confused with egotism and ignorance.
I am not going to single any ignorant individuals out here becuz that is not the point....
But folks, please think about everything before you go cheering for bombs and what not. The last thing I want to do is walk onto my ship, kiss my wife good bye and not see her for 6 months because IIIIII have to head on out to sea and play the waiting game. There are a LOT better things to do in this situation than to unleash your battle cries and war faces right off the bat.

Tell ya what I wish people would do.... Stop buying ANY products made by the Chinese and shipped to this country. Just out of curiosity, I looked at my rather large collection of Nascar diecast cars. On the bottom of every one of 'em had the engraving of "Made In China". Wish this would spread like a California Forest fire....
