As for your classic resume thread, I merely laughed at Cie's comment. I have brought it (the thread) up in the past, but it's been awhile. If you want to revisit it I guess we can. And looks like that was Feb. '11, hardly 'several years ago'.

My apologies, I confuse you and Cie. Spun from the same thread. Argue just for arguments sake. You'd make a great politician btw.
With a few exceptions, it really seems like the southern guys think that this really isn't "that" big of a deal. Maybe this is just one of those north/south differences that makes our country so charming.
I always thought Deliverence was a little bit of an exaggeration, but I'm starting to feel less sure about that.

at some point now in American Culture don't we have to make a stand and return to making people suffer the consequences[sp?] of idiot and stupid behavior.:shrug:
As a culture we can't write off stupid and down right vile behavior as boys being boys.
The actions of this man have no place in a mannered society..
at some place and time American Culture has to return to the notion of respect for one another.

I have a neighbor like that. He treats his kids like a circus monkey...they tell jokes, cuss, etc on command. they are 3 and 2. He thinks its hilarious.
