Yeah I'm hoping Tubby can have our boys fired up and ready to play, unlike the last 4 out of 5 we played this past season. Good luck to all on recruiting and have a blasted good time until the new season starts! I CAN'T WAIT!

Georgia's falling fast. I'm not sure how much we have left on the table either.

I still feel Mark Richt did a great job recruiting this year. I hear a big part of his success is ex-QB and current QB coach Mike Bobo. This guy was a complete lush in college. Everyone thought he was a prick, but I've heard many recruits coming to UGA because of his visit with them. He must get them drunk!:p

The Ohio State University is being ranked 2nd in the nation behind Texas' incredible class. But all in all, we all know that rankings of recruting classes don't mean dick. It never has, it never will.....

One thing that is most impressive about the OSU class isn't just their 2nd ranking. Of the 23 verbals they've received so far, 20 have high school GPA's of greater than 3.0 A couple of outstanding top players in the state were not given schoolarships as a result of grades.

Coach Tressel seems to be at his finest when he's recruiting high school kids. Everyone in Ohio is just hoping his X's and O's improve a little more this next year.

Well Toledo has the best recruits in school history....the best class I have ever seen at least. fawking Ohio St took 2 of our prospects.....those guys are idiots...I cant believe they are going to OSU....dont they realize they are gonna be backups....came back to Toledo and get a chance to start. I Cant wait till they tell themselves what a bad decision they made after standing on the sidelines for 3 years and then finally getting play on there senior year.

"At Texas, you've got to win," Brown said. "I do think we get too much credit for recruiting and not enough credit for coaching."

Monk -- respond to this statement please......unbelievable.....

I know where you're getting at freeze...stop.

Read this The Link

All I can say is that if you ever get to personally meet the man, then you will understand what this article is all about. Coach Brown is a 100% caring, genuine and sensitive individual, and not only to his prospective players (eg recruits). We are lucky to have Mack Brown. There is no other coach in college football who deserves to win a National Championship more than he does.

It all comes from the top down and includes the assistants, players and families. I am damn proud of our coach and the program he has built and will continue to build. Frankly, that story says it all for me about what Mack Brown is about and I know that he is doing the very best he can to make this the best football team and program in the nation.....in all respects. We can't ask any more of the man than that.

you gotta think he will make it at least to the game in the next couple years......this class is just unbelievable.......

Stoops kind of seems like an ass to me.....i don't think recruiting is his forte in the least.......Brown should be able to win recruiting wars for a while......also it is of HUGE benefit not to compete against Osborne anymore......Solich is an idiot.....Barnett is kind of an ass too....UT recruiting greatly benefits getting rid of McCartney, Osborne, and Switzer.....

He does kind of remind me of Switzer. Switzer is one of the nicest guys you can ever meet too, and I bet Mack learned alot from him.

As far as deserving a championship, i think you need to at least play in the game before you "deserve" one......lets not get too greedy and hold that hype machine back a little bit.......Texas should get theirs......

Things are looking real good for them too with Solich taking Nebraska down.......saw some places that had their class in the 40's.....add that to the fact that Solich is a worse coach than Mack and UT should be favorite to win big 12 next year.....just have to get by OU first......if OU QB is any good, that will be tough to beat Stoops......
