I'm not sure how this is going to shake out but if you look at the number of "resolved" cases, it seems like this could get really bad. If this ratio continues.......holy fuck.

it takes longer time, even 3-4 weeks to end up in "recovered" column than that other one.

My guess is ~ 50,000 by end of summer.

This has become my favorite site for projections. Gives you expected peak both for the country and individual states (as well as for other countries). Also projects potential regular hospital and ICU bed shortages.

Current projection is 60,415 US deaths by end of summer. This is down from 82,000 yesterday and over 100k last week. So things have definitely been moving in the right direction recently.

NYC's peak hospital usage is estimated as today. This reinforces the reports that they've recently had more discharges than admissions over the last couple days. Overall US peak resource usage estimated in 3 days.
