On the course!
Three games with more than three tds, in my book, is not good.

Besides, I only posted to help out Mags, since everyone was jumping his shit.

I really don't think the Stallers will be in the Super Bowl. If they are? Great.....you are all sage beyond the forum.

Their defense could get them there, no doubt. But, "The champagne is not Kordel"

Okay.....my work is done here.

And here I thought true sportsmanship had no beginning nor end. I was always taught that you should be a good sport before, during, and after the game is over. Exactly what color is the sky in your world anyway?

By the way, we wont even get into your underlying ISSUES that cause you to use terms like "skirt" and "pansies" against someone's opinion (which obviously was more thought-out AND more intelligent than yours).

Stag,

There is no "right or wrong" here, is there? These are only opinions offered by me, and others.

If I said that Pittsburgh was 10-4, I would be wrong.

Honestly? I don't give two shits about Pittsburgh, so win, lose, lay, or pray......makes me no nevermind.

I just think it is funnier than shit to listen to every clown in the circus talk about "the great Steelers", or "the mighty Rams".

Last time I checked.....this business still ran on some people choosing one side, and some taking the other. That is all I've done here.

(...and I like to stir some shit up, once in a while!)

He Hate Me-

I agree with you. You play hard until the game is over. East Carolina...perfect example. In baseball, remember the Indians coming back from 12? (I think it was 12) to beat the Mariners earlier this year? (Seattle had emptied the bench by the 6th inning and Cleveland scored like 13 runs to beat them by a stick) You can't take anything for granted because you never know what's going to happen. I totally hate it when teams "lay down" just because they don't want to "run it up". You are out there to play, play hard until the end. Just my opinion...everyone has a right to agree with running up the score or sitting on the ball...yeah, it's hard to swallow especially when you are on the short side, but that's the risk you take when you place a wager.

Teams aren't in this business to show class, they're here to win championships. Sorry if you were on the Lions, but I got no sympathy for them!

For the record, I wasn't on Detroit - it was just a game that stuck out as someone running it up....
It reminded me a lot of Spurrier and Florida - but a big difference is that Spurrier was doing it to move up the polls and play in the national championship.
Last I checked, the Super Bowl doesn't care if you run up the score on bad teams...
I stand by my earlier comments.
It was nice to see at least a couple of people understand the meaning of sportsmanship still....

I have laid off betting for awhile but love to check in on all of my old friends and see how they are doing. I will post some occasional info on my Steelers to help everyone out. But if you think that Bill has no class, then you are truly an idiot when it comes to football. Nobody was running up any scores or any of the craziness that has been talked about in this post. He is a class act and they are a good team.
Anyway, I hope all had a good X Mas!!!

If every coach in the league shared Cower's enthusiasm for the game as well as his devotion to his players, the world would be a much better place.

As far as runnin' up the score, you can't just tell your players to stop playing. Perhaps he did leave the starters in longer than he should've, but they might have expirementing with new plays, formations, sets, etc..etc....

If Dilfer can lead his team to the Grand Finale, THEN there's hope for everyone..

Det was in a bad spot. Still hung over from the win week before. If Cowher was there for the taking and GBay needed a coach. I think they would try to get him. So would many others. I do believe he could have pulled the QB. Hey you get caught up in the. I did what and should haves after every game. Do we still have total points scored as one of the home team tie breaker for playoffs? Oak wins out and Pitt would screw up they could tie. Yes? Hey if wrong slap me in the head.

wow, i have been so busy, i missed that 4th and 4, up by 23.

obviously, darn cowler must be reading us, as he KNEW i had detroit +23 in a superteaser. that will be the last time i will show my play with pitt.

other than that, come on fellows, all of a sudden cowler is coach of the year and stewart the greatest qb around...?
where have you guys been for the last 3-4 years?

pitt has their stuff together and they do look like the strongest ticket around, and nobody should question that.

i will say this: a lot of players and coaches will hear about this, and there is a good chance it will come back to haunt them.

and, is that much different than what's his name in minny taunting as he is about to score?
