Simms got a KO in 5th - it was a tough break for Garcia - they were breaking and Garcia was looking for the ref to intervene and Simms got a shot in when Garcia was not paying attention - Garcia hands were down - it was complete luck

Pulling Mayorga

Pulling Mayorga

We all know the key to sports gambling is money
management. And although I still think Mayorga
will dominate this fight, I'm already up plenty of $
for the week and the month. When you are up 4
units on the night and you only have another 1/2
unit to gain while risking 2 units to get that half...

Its a no brainer, I'll stay at 4-0 for +4 units this week,
9-0 for +7 units this thread, and now I can relax and
enjoy the rest of the fight filled evening.

GL to those of you that follwed me on Mayorga, this was
my play of the week untill I won the rest of them.

Final Play

Final Play

Laying .7 units to win .8 (1 unit play) on the Mayorga under 9.5 +110 (pinnacle)

Sorry to here it UT-L, if you have read this thread you know my play on Mayorga is solid and I recommend laying the wood to be safe, but you can also get him to win inside the distance at -125 or so. My play on the under is a value play for money managent purposes. If it goes the distance, I sti;; think Mayorga will win as that would set up a mega fight between Mayorga and Mosley which is already in the works.

BTW

BTW

The Gacia ko was completely legal but a total fluke.
They locked up and Garcia assumed they were getting
split by the ref. and while the ref. was on the way over
to do just that, Simms loaded up and nailed Garcia in
the temple. If they fight again, I hope I get some good
odds on Garcia who is by far the better fighter ,imo.

Here's another solid play I forgot to tell you about..
Hopkins by ko, you can get it cheap at 5dimes and
pinnacle. As usual you have to pay for it at olympic.

Hopkins ko'd Trinidad, Trinidad ko'd Joppy in 5 rounds.
Plus Joppy is coming off a 14 month layoff and Hopkins
bet Joppy 2-1 that he would stop him. Looks good to me.

Spinks won a decision - I don't think Spinks actually threw a punch though.

Holy cow. Spinks beat Mayorga. Was it a questionable decision in your guys opinion. Sounds like it might have been by your tone of voice.

I don't know if it was questionable - the announcers both had Spinks winning easily - Mayorga had two points deducted - Spinks ducked him all fight - held him all night - and slipped 10+ times - I just have a hard time saying Spinks won when he did nothing offesively - Spinks was brilliant on defense though and made Mayorgo look wild and erradic

Hopkins is dominating through 10 - and really coming on in the last three rounds - fight might have to be stopped - Joppe has a big welt by the side of his head - this is a real beating

Total ass whooping - if you had Hopkins by KO you have to be disappointed - one more round and Joppe would have neem taken away in a hurse - Hopkins by decision

Horrible line. IMO Bell should have started as a solid -300 favorite. I took a piece of Bell  This is the type of fight I don't mind losing a bet on because the line is so off. Bell should be to big and powerfull for harmon

I got O'Neil Bell at +100 (Oly) just 30 minutes ago,
1/2 unit on this one also.

Harmon is fighting in his home state of Illinois which
is probably why Oly had him favored from the start.
But this will be his first fight at cruiserweight which
is 15 pounds heavier than his former weight class.
And he will be fighting a very dangerous opponent
who is ranked in the top 5 of all four major belts.
Harmon's barely ranked in the top 15 of lightheavies.
I 'll take my chances with the bigger, stronger, and
younger fighter, especially with even odds.
