It seems a little hard to believe to me though, and I would strongly suggest doing a little more research. I am sure you can google some valuable resources from your specific state. I've been checking it out. Anything above.16 and you face the most severe penalties. 72 hours jail. Fine of 1000-5000. Loss of license.150 hours of community service. I hope she learned her lesson. She needs to get accepted in the ARD program.

Was the breathalizer at the station ? or side of the road ?

The one had a lawyer for sure. Can't recall on the other. I know of many other people who aren't friends really who have succesfully completed the program and absolutley benefited from it.....
Just ask state trooper or judge they have all the information....
Combine this, with what Whathisnuts said, and she should have some luck.....walk in apologetic and accepting full responsibilty, while being knowledgebale of how ARD works and I'm sure she will get it....
