Imus needs to go to satellite radio, where it is not censored and he can say what he wants

"the bunker"
sharpton comments on imus....

"It has been reported to me that statements were made by Mr. Imus this morning and National Action Network has monitored his show since his return. I find the inference of his remark disturbing because it plays into stereotypes. Any use of stereotypes is always counterproductive. We will determine in the next day or so whether or not his remark warrants direct action on our part as we did in April of last year."

there is some extreme irony at work here.....sharpton is the classic shake down thug..... he gets huge sums of money from corporations thru extortion tactics. and now he is being investigated for tax violations and misuse of these supposed charitable funds....

and his target is a 70 year old wannabe cowboy...

sharpton vs. imus is like a gladitorial match in which one warrior is armed with a spatula and the other with a flyswatter.....

fight to the death!........:142smilie

I just don't understand why anyone cares, black or white.

That's like me caring about the things I hear some of the guys on the radio that are black say. For all I care they can be flies licking Shaqs ass with Kobe. I just don't care what people say.

Ok, then by this...Imus is entitled to his opinion like everybody else.

You're making it seem like I should can it because people have that right.

Well, the same goes here. Leave Imus alone and get a life already people.

I agree, Imus does nothing Rev Sharpton and Jackson don't do .....:scared

No doubt. White men have had a tough go of it compared to black men. Sickening.
At what point does the concept of 'personal responsibility' enter into your thinking?

My god, every group that's ever set foot in this country has had persecution to deal with, and, oddly enough, almost all have been able to overcome and succeed except for a select few.

Even with government handouts available on virtually every corner for non-whites, many still don't succeed.

Some people simply don't WANT to put the effort in. Why would you when the taxpayers pay for your food, illegitimate children and medical insurance. Not everyone is noble and trying to get ahead in the world...

That's what I was thinking. Imus needs to step up and take responsibility for being such an unentertaining jackass. He is lucky to be employed. He clearly isn't even trying anymore. It's as if he's a pop culture welfare case. Not even coming close to earning his keep.
