A BIG week for me for sure. I'm very pleased and very relieved. I feel like I earned one.
"We sing about beauty and we sing about truth
At ten thousand dollars a show (right) . . .
But the thrill we've never known, is the thrill that'll getcha
When you get your picture on the cover of the Rollin Stone . . .
Wanna see my picture on the cover
Wanna buy five copies for my mother (Yeah!)
Wann see my smilin' face, on the cover of the Rollin Stone." Dr. Hook
But I'm already struggling with this week, so it seems a perfect time to revisit one of my favorite golf quotes (I included it in my first post in MJ's golf forum on 1/31/02), and it's applicability to capping probably means I'm right on the cusp of a healthy dose of firing blanks:
"When I was hitting the ball well, there were always one or two things I made certain of doing, and the doing of them would assure success for a while. But they were not always the same things. One conception was good for only a limited time, and when the charm wore off, I would have to begin looking for something else." Bobby Jones
