just got up and saw this thread.....checked out justin just in time to see aoki clown kawajiri in roughly a minute or two...

no contest...he shot once,grabbed a leg and that was it....

gotta think kawajiri knew what aoki would try and do...but was helpless to stop it....

maybe melendez gets some overdue props after the way he manhandled aoki...kawajiri`s not in his league...

How much is the difference in glove sizes from the UFC to Dream, 2 ounces?

I'm not sure what it is but I've always found watching fights in the ring more enjoyable than the cage. I like the flow of the cage better but there is something lacking. When you watch Dream or the old Pride fights there seemed to be a certain ambience about it.

i liked pride better than the ufc....but as we speak,the talent level in dream is pretty poor comparatively.....

japan is a tad overrated in terms of being an mma talent hotbed...they have great public support but their guys come over here and inevitably(with a few exceptions) don`t do very well(i`m sorry to say)......

Got the Nakamura play, but sadly Kikuno lost a close one and Kawajiri decided he wanted to go to the ground with Aoki. Aoiki fucking bites, but if you fight him stupid you will lose.

When you watch DREAM you see just how far behind the fighters are comapred to the UFC. Can you imagine Aoki in the UFC....man he'd get tooled

His face was jammed up under the corner post padding when he was all but out so he could not be punched and Melvin was able to recover for a minute and get out that or he would have been finished earlier. You won't see that in a cage. :142smilie

To me it's more pleasing to the eye on tv and in person there's no comparison. Going to a cage fight sucks. Between the poles and the camera men you can't see crap.

because its a true fight and not some advantage for certain guys to pull a guy to a wall to take advantage of them. That isn't true fighting and like Lay says it is much easier on the eyes. Cage is as silly as it gets. Almost as silly as keep betting against Anoki cause u don't like him personally. The cage makes a fight boring most of the time cause guys will just lay on a guy wheen he gets him against this silly wall.
