u get caught on the ropes they bring it back in the middle. You get caught against the cage 3 quarters of the audience falls asleep. Let them fight with nobody having an advantage then some do with this silly cage. Boxing never looked at the cage and thought "wow what a great idea". Taped a lot of those old pride fights and it is almost like every one is exciting. Most because they aren't fighting in that stupid cage.

I'll have to side with the ring boys here. I'm marginally involved with a local amateur mma program that fights in a cage. Even though I am right up front there are so many blind spots. But I admit that I haven't seen much in the way of quality fighters in a ring.

BTW - In So Cal there is alot of amateur mma events because there are so many schools teaching the various styles. The crowds are getting bigger and bigger.
