FDC....It's just so hard to read something this horrible but thoughts and prayers are with Kristyn. Hang in there and stay strong.
Cris, like everyone else this has really gotten to me. I can't imagine anyone touching my little girl.
If you need anything please let me know. I can be over your way in 30 minutes. Heck if it's just sitting around with you so you're not by yourself up there or whatever just let me know.

Man, I can only imagine the rage and sorrow you must feel. Just reading this and your description I found myself in disbelief and angry. I was updating my wife and tears started to stream down my face. I have been married for two weeks and am the step dad, but "real dad" to a 6 year old little girl. May your daughter continue to stay strong and I know no words really help but please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. This mfer has just began to get what he deserves.

I just re-read this thread and am sitting here with tears streaming down my face. I'm so angry and sad thinking of you and your family and all you are going through.... It's probably a good thing that I'm not closer because I'd probably lose my license to practice law after doing something stupid to that bastid. Keep your head straight and know that we are all thinking of and praying for you right now.... Seriously, Cris, if you need anything, please let us know....

I have been a Correction Officer for 15 years and deal with the scum of the earth every day. I have heard so many horrible stories over the years of how bad one human being can treat another. It boggles the mind that time and time again people keep doing horrendous things like this to each other.

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE news. FDC, I hope everything works out and she fights like a champion. I know you and I have fought back and forth and had our disagreements, but I'd never wanna see this happen to anyone....well, except that pathetic boyfriend. Thoughts and prayers!!!

I just got home from travelling and saw this thread. Cris, please know that you, your daughter and your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers.
As a survivor of abuse, though not to the extent as your poor daughter, let me say that your love and support will be as needed down the road as it is now. Keep telling her how brave she is and how much you unconditionally love her. Always reassure her that NOTHING she may have done rationalizes or excuses this behavior!
This is probably not the first time he abused her and he probably has/had her convinced that somehow she brought it upon herself. The embarassment of others finding out what she has been tolerating can be overwhelming as well. Feel free to get my email from Jack in the future if she feels she would like to communicate from someone who has been there and made it out.
