There were only going to be two results:

Bills win and everyone is ecstatic
Chiefs win and it's the refs fault

It does set up for entertainment tho I will say
Also disagree!!!

1st off when KC actually outplayed thier opponent and they win. I have nothing against that. It's clear and obvious the NFL is scripting this shit. Might as well be the WWE.

If you think the NFL is scripting this why havent you bet your entire net worth on it? I mean if it's so clear and obivous.

You cant have it both ways!

I guess my final question is why would they script it in this way? How does Kansas City winning every year help them?

I don't see the motivation.

I dunno, I have had these same thoughts about lots of teams and eras even going to back to the 90s Bulls that got every call imaginable. But eventually I realized a lot of that stuff is how you choose to perceive things. Sometimes I will bitch about a call here or there but I don't really care to dwell on it. I do not think there is any reasonable way to "script" a football game. Sure shady shit goes on but it's not some mass conspiracy.

I honestly cant tell shit from that off angle view with is back to me. I thought it was really close. If he got it was by the nose of the ball, which you cant see or even tell what hand it's in.

Whatever tho man. I get it. Been there.

But you're not answering the question - you knew it was scripted - thats a once in a lifetime opportunity on a Pk line where they take millions in limits.

See and say what you want.

To me, Bills were the better team overall. That's where my $ goes.

SF was the better team last year.
But refs didn't call one holding call the entire game when there was obviously 8 of them against KC who during the regular season had the most holding calls against them.

So your money goes to the team that's scripted to lose. Just make some sense.

I'm not saying they don't get calls. I'm just trying to understand the thought process here.

This exactly. Don’t underestimate the giant fan base she brought. It was a completely new demographic, now buying into the machine. Ads, gear, and probably gambling tbh, which brings in higher revenue from those partners.

Hey grok, what type of business is the NFL registered as

Answer

The NFL is registered as a "sports entertainment" business. This classification aligns it with organizations like the WWE, under which they can legally operate under different regulations compared to traditional sports leagues.

Just 1 referee could retire and write a best seller documenting the fixes through emails tape recordings etc. Would do damage to the nfl and make millions. Chiefs get calls no doubt but they practice and facilitate getting calls. They did this on the 4th down, they blocked the camera angles on both sides of the field, and the defense celebrated with exuberance that they made the stop and swayed the zebras on the field. They replay can't see. This was by design. Chris Jones blocked 1 side and a defensive back blocked the other camera angle. On purpose. Refs are told to protect the stars and the Chiefs at home get crowd influenced calls and put themselves in position to get them. Yes we're all sick of it, but they're not fixing games when the average team is worth 6.5 Billion.

Great question Bombs the NFL is a multi billion business and would a business owner ever leave a billion $ industry up to chance? It’s a simple way to look at it, but today’s NFL is all about viewership and money. And when you add in Taylor Swift, it’s like a wet Dream for Goodell in the NFL. And I feel they will milk it as far as they can. KC is a great team. But I feel they do get preferential treatment. And it doesn’t have to be critical calls but for instance, a holding call at the opportune time can change the momentum of a game. I can’t remember the percentages but converting a first and 10 vs the first and 20 there was a huge difference. Just my two centavos.

There is always a flavor of the day. Right now, it's KC.

but you didn't bet on the team with the obvious fix?

the relevance of your playoff record to your reaction to this particular game is unclear.
Chiefs are a great team. They make the big plays and rarely hurt themselves with turnovers and penalties. Best coaching. Defense has been the huge part of their success last two seasons. I predicted that A) Chiefs would win , B) Everyone would complain.
I complained two Supe's ago when they beat the Iggles, hopefully we smash them this time around.

my frustration with the Chiefs and refs go back to last year. Especially the superbowl where Chiefs could hold on every play and a flag WOULD NOT BE THROWN!!!!

Disagree.

I don't think last year or this year Chiefs team is or was a great team. They are a above average team with the obvious help with the league leaders and the refs. Whatever the agenda and for whatever reason.

Go KC Swifties

You can take any average team and give them the exact calls as the Chiefs get on the field and they would be superbowl bound.

KC just off top of the head should have lost this year vs

Cincinnati
Atlanta
Las Vegas
Chargers
Denver
Bills yesterday

Last years Superbowl.
