My request would be to start a new thread if you want to discuss your moral opinions or IQs of these guys...

I'd like to keep this one to BASKETBALL BETTING. please.

LOL... Dumb how? lazy how? These dudes are 100 times better at their craft than you will ever be at anything you do. They aren't perfect, but I'm sure you are.

IMO, people should take a step back and see how many mistakes and off days, and whatever whatever has happened to you. And i'm sure everyone knows exactly how they would act with hundreds of millions of dollars and a camera on you every day at work listening to your every move. It's just hilarious to me.

Okay, typical apologist. I made a statement based on your post and of course you turn it around and try to point it back at me. Now you know these dudes are 100 times better at their craft than i will ever be at anything. This isn't hilarious to you?

Who said anything about perfect? I would expect full effort in a championship series obviously you don't, that's fine.

So you wouldn't consider the players IQ's to be a capping benefit?

just as you suspected. after a spurs W, everyone is out to bash the heat. after a heat W, everyone's quiet...

Yeah, it's fine. They have definitely been more "right" so far. I know it seems like it, but I really don't care so much. I am just fascinated by all the hate... and, yes, even $$ aside, I am rooting for the Heat because of this.

But, I'd like to be clear on something... I don't care so much about the Heat either way. As you saw in the Indy series, I wrote often about how I don't think the Heat are that great of a team. Their bench is horrible, Wade is battered, and Bosh is a pussy. Lebron has very little help the past few weeks. I thought this series would be over in 6, so I was wrong.

Still just have to win 2 at home... very doable.

well first you claim that no, IQ doesn't matter, then you say Lebron has a huge baketball IQ which does matter.
In short i would think IQ does matter, all forms of it.

I would disagree with great effort but that's just me. I have seen many times where he, and others on the Heat, do not hustle back on defense, instead complaining about a no call or just not getting back for whatever reason.

Just my non-biased opinion, I don't have a dog in this one. Good luck though, the way things are going the Heat will take the next one.

IQ and Basketball IQ are two VASTLY different animals. I assumed that double was talking about regular IQ, because to claim Lebron doesn't have a high BBall IQ would just be flat out ignorant.

Lebron's effort never has been intelligently questioned.

Wade definitely made mistakes arguing with refs instead of getting back in time.

Jord,
I have a lot of respect for you and more times than not I agree with what you post. That said, there is no way on earth you objectively watched last night's game if you think LeBron played hard. Numerous times he jogged back up court after change of possession. Agree he usually gives great effort, and i have no doubt tomorrow night he will come out like a man posessed, but last night he flat out dogged it on a few occasions.

Jord is right...

ESPN recently did a segment on Lebron and his basketball IQ. I am sure you can find it on their site or on YouTube.

I'm a Laker fan since 72 I've always been a Lebron hater, but I must say, after I saw the segment, my opinion of him changed. Never realized that part of him, how he "coaches" others on the court, at practice, and in games. Never realized how hard he studies other players, watches film, etc and like many, assumed he was just getting it done through tremendous talent alone.

I like many was wrong....

He will never match Kobe in the clutch, never have the same heart as 24, will never compare to Jordan in will to win or competitiveness, and I doubt he catches either in rings despite his greatness as a player, but at least now, he's won my respect.

Series play

Heat -125 to win 20 units

i know, I'm an idiot :0corn , but I just don't see the Heat losing tonight, and don't want to lay -300 for obvious reasons.

This lowers my series odds to about -156, and I can lay some off tomm night.

I now have 79 units to win 50.5 on the series. Most I've ever had on an event, but definitely not the most confident I have ever been
