No free pass, it's a judgement call. If the thread turns political, or racist, or there's a lot of bashing, etc, it gets moved. Just here on the first page there are posts from T, Mr. Lock, Saint, jas4bama, footlong, hedgehog, yyz, hawkeye, ChrryBlstr, and Scrapman with similar discussions that did not get moved.
Dickserve, are there mirrors in your Mom's basement? Just making a point that is fact, but facts here sometimes get people butt hurt like you. He is more political than most on here, follow the trail. Maybe you can find out where he lives and go give him a hug if Mommy will let you out. Have a truly enjoyable day reading old school posts about Corona and politics and stupidity of people. Groundhog day every day for his posts. I am not negative, sorry you truly don't know me. Off to play golf now.
Can we just go to Vegas and get in that 10 degrees below zero cooler/freezer at "Red Bar" (???) with our Russian mink coats and hats and drink vodka again until normalcy sets in here? That was a great time, and you spent it with a negative only person and Jack. Best part was buying the second AND third bottles.

I certainly don't believe that Old School is wishing for the worst. We are involved in the ultimate case of better safe than sorry here and I recall that OS has had major health issues lately. Shit, his favorite actress is Elizabeth Taylor so he can't be no spring chicken. I get it, I get it, you are healthy, gavotting between the country club and the boat, and have seen no covid cases in the world that is your bubble. But if he brings you down so bad., just put him on ignore or skip the threads dude. :shrug:

My feelings are hurt, I have e-mailed Old School with a list of subjects he is allowed to post about, and those he can not post about. So Wineguy's mission was accomplished.

A retired teacher that has been quarantined in her house since this whole pandemic started asked me what I think about all this also. Below was my reply.

Let me first state that I am not a doctor or a politician. People that are close to me know that I love life, god, and country.
Thank you for asking my opinion on the current pandemic. The following are just my opinions and mine alone.
I don?t believe the numbers thrown at us tell the whole story. I don?t trust the media. I don?t think Dr. Fauci has seen an actual patient or has been in a clinical lab for years. He has access to statistical numbers and based on those numbers make recommendations for our country. I am more confident in my analytical abilities. Our surgeon general, Jerome Adams, addressed the ineffectiveness of facemasks in regard to controlling the spread of the coronavirus in late March. How can anyone trust what he has to say now? The two clowns from WBAP talk radio also were clueless about the effectiveness of facemasks.
I saw our superintendent at CostCo in late March and talked to him about my ideas and suggestions on how to curb the coronavirus pandemic. He told me to email my thoughts to him. He never read my letter. This tells me that my ideas mean nothing to the people that are in the position to make executive decisions. By the way, I do have a solution.
I can go into great details about the facemasks, our economy, education, politics, race, black lives, white lives, yellow, red, green or blue lives, and every subject in between here, but then I would lose many friends, including some family members. Therefore, I will keep it simple and tell you what I am doing in our current environment to show that I don't believe the media.
Through education and being informed, I have no fear of contracting the coronavirus. I have been out and about from the onset of this current pandemic. I am not denying that there is a pandemic; however, I am not keeping my kids home isolated as suggested by our elected leaders. We still frequent state parks, the Dallas Arboretum, Six Flags, and even restaurants. We do attend small group parties. As a matter of fact, we are in the process of planning our summer vacation, which is a road trip to the Rocky Mountains. I have aging parents, and they both have underlying conditions. I visit and take care of their needs daily. Through proper care and accurate information, I am confident that we will be okay.
I don?t want to get into any heated arguments, so I will just end it here.
