Safarova on absolute fire, so much for a letdown - hoping that she starts to wear down a bit in the 2nd as this is her 3rd match in 2 days (including doubles) :mj09:

It's just men against boys out there. Kei is just completely over-matched. He doesn't have the power or mental capacity to compete with the big boys like Joe. The only problem I see with Jo Willy today is his hideous wardrobe. The tour needs Joe, not the other way around.

If Joe has any realistic shot of catching Fed's record of major titles he's gonna need to finish at the French this year. It's probably to early to say he's running out of time but it feels that way.

I am conflicted....I bet on Safarova but she is coached by a guy I grew up playing tennis against (lived in my area) who was a complete asshole. I got in a nice scrap with him once in the parking lot. Yes that was a long time ago but once an asshole always an asshole. I will give him credit though he has done a great job with Safarova she's improved a lot under him. Of course he gets to bang her so maybe I am a bit jealous. Dude was a fucking asshole back in the day though.
