Nikolay Davydenko

I slept more last night than in the previous five nights combined. Having a hard time imagining feeling this good, this rested, on a day to day basis.
Hopefully that mental sharpness and positive attitude can cross over to the clay. Im not abandoning ship at the quarters. Way, waaaayyy too much work done last week for that. Hoping for a 2-1 result on these but a sweep would be fantastic. Lets get in the ring. :box2:

not a tennis expert by any stretch, but found a good bet..i think...i hope..

played it for a pretty good size at pinnacle

Nadal will NOT beat ferrer 3 sets to 0

they've played twice on clay before and split each match going 3 sets in a best of 3 format. both players are well rested enough. Nadal lost a set to grosjean last match so why not ferrer. both spanish so they grew up playing each other in spanish junior league if there is such a thing.

ferrer can definitely get one measly set, can he not??

at +116 i think it has good value, but again i'm by no means a tennis expert...gl

Nadal is nothing short of a phenom. I have him beating FedEx then winning the Open. His game is even higher than Roger's right now.

Thats how we do it.

7 - 1 posted plays in this thread. All seven wins doggies except for a -105 who was a technical dog on Mantilla. Didnt post but was on Henin-Hardenne +205 in straight sets.

My only chalk play is pending with Davydenko, but well see. So much damn value in the dogs this French open.

England, u.k.
I posted earlier in this thread that i played and recommended;

OUTRIGHT

3 units win Roger Federer at +250

4 units win Justine Henin-Hardenne at +150

Well one of the luxuries we have here in the UK is that we are able not only to wager on but also to wager against (act as a book). In other words LAY wagers.

As both my recommendations look in quite strong positions to now go on and win the tourni I have personnally laid off my bets with the exchanges. Anyone who played these and have the facility to lay off, I would recommend you do so as any profit is better than a possibility of none at all.

So I have laid Hein Hardenne at -250 for 5 units and Federer at -130 for 4 units.

As a result if Federer wins I now pocket 4.42 units of profit and should he fail to win I pocket 1 unit of profit.

If Henin-Hardenne wins I pocket 4.00 units of profit and should she fail to win I pocket 1 unit of profit.

This is the position that all bettors should hope to find themselves in.

ok.........you see a post by kickserv....ya think ok good, he's probably calmed down for that whole Gaudio thing.............

WELL FU** NO HE HASN"T :cursin: :cursin:

still pissed :cursin:

not sure if any of ya know........but there was this guy named Gaudio who was up 4-0 serving in the 5th set in the rd. of 16's of a grand slam. He was the defending champion..........kickserv had him in a sweet parlay....kickserv wagered a lot of money.........you'd think oh way to go kickserv good job.......well no.....no is the answer......why? why?

Because he lost 6 straight games.....no not 3 or 4....six :mj12:

so.............no I'm not going to say "good job cappers" and "way to go this" and "good effort that" I'm just posting this play...........and if anybody sees Gaudio tell him I coulda won that set...........and as most of ya know I played tennis professionally and I sucked ass.......but even I coulda won that set :cursin:

so here is the play for Wed:

N. Davydenko beat T. Robredo $1.70 *3 units

oh......and ya want to hear something funny....I actually have a win over Davydenko, of course at that time he wasn't anywhere close to how good he is now........but ummm I'll just pretend he was :mj07:

Looks like I'm gonna have to play Davydenko in this spot @-150. Also playing Canas @ -148......mostly because I barely heard of this Puerta guy.
It would seem that Nadal would seem a play based on his amazing streak but it is not worth the price for me. On the other hand, when are you ever going to get the Fed express at an incredible -135 or thereabouts. Too bad they meet in the semis as this has championship winner written all over it. Still another day to think about it but for me it is Fed or nothing. It is a must see event for any sports fan though......even if there is no bet involved.

I watched the 2 quarter finals and was not impressed. Puerta showed some resilience and sparks but Canas spent the whole day playing defense. At this point, if I can get at least even money on setbetting, I will be unloading on Fed 3-0 or Nadal 3-0 in the final.
Still can't decide whether to back the Fed or not at the bargain prices. I will probably wait for a few games to be played and then do some 'live-betting'.
In the ho's semi's, Ill be taking both dogs....Petrova and Likhovseva. I think (hope) a split is a minimum.
