hey good to see ya nick :)

but ummm "lots" by no means are there "lots" but I will admit it is better then it used to be.....I had a joke when I was playing.....if I saw a hot chick ranked say 400...I'd say "well....she won't crack the top 100....she's just too damn hot" :mj07:

And if ya don't believe me go watch a tier III WTA tourney...you'll see the girls between 200-500 are smoking :scared I'm not kidding it's funny....if ya took 1-100 and compared em to 300-400 you'd see a huge difference :mj07:

Well Kick, that hoe parlay came in so easy. I never saw the matches but I heard it was nothing but a practise session for HH and Peirce (scores would reflect this). Did you say they make the same money as the men who actually have to work for their pay?

I'm gonna have to follow your picks on the men's semi's. Daveydenko was unimpressive in last and I may not get such a good price on Fed for another 5 years.

Final Selections
---------------------

M. Puerta beat R. Nadal $7.20 *0.5 unit

R. Nadal will NOT win in straight sets $2.25 *2.5 units

ok........Nadal is a massive massive huge huge fav in this one....but hey I'm sure the grinder Puerta can win a set......I mean ya can't mess with those odds....I mean +125 for Puerta to win a set :scared Sure everybody thinks Nadal will win 6-0 6-0 6-0 but remember this is men's tennis and banking on a 19 year old to steamroll a guy in a grand slam final is a lot to ask, sure Nadal will most likely win, but I got a sneaky feeling this will be closer then what everybody thinks :)

I mean sh** ya guys have to realize that Puerta is no piece of crap.....the guy is in the FINAL OF THE FRENCH OPEN for fu**s sake......and kickserv thinks he'll pull out one set :)

Puerta once again showed resilience and some flash so I can see where you are coming from Kick. I said I would bet Nadal 3-0 if it was at least even money....and it ain't so I won't bet it. I think the public is all thinking like me so the price is shorter than it should be.

So a small wager on Nadal 3-1 @ +355.

Fed sucks! Just kiddin......but if he can't beat a guy that just turned 19 how is he gonna beat him in the next few years? Okay maybe clay is just a major weakness for the Fed but Nadal doesn't seem to have a weakness. I think Federer's reach for 'greatest-tennis-player-ever' status has ended. I expect to see these 2 guys in the finals for 5 out of the next 6 majors (assuming the seeding is right) so time will tell a better story.

How about that exciting ho's final....6-1, 6-1

What a joke!

After getting to sleep around 3est got up at 7 to watch that pathetic womens final. Put a small play on HH to win a buck fifty and will be 'rolling' that easy money onto the mens finals.

Result: Pending
2005 French Open - Player to Win 1st Set (Finals)
Rafael Nadal
Mariano Puerta 06/05/05 (07:00 ET)
Mariano Puerta +450 1 unit

I think Nadal comes out a bit flat and shows his age and inexperience against a man who eats/sleeps/breathes clay court action. Call it a hunch or whatever. If you have the cojones, play the nice big line @ +600 or more. I'll be content cashing the +450. Just a bit gunshy on a man who has been playing lots of five set matches holding up against a man-child. Plus this bet pays four figures, and I like to take some 'shots' with large dogs every now and then. This tournament was chock full of em. Win or lose - its been a cash cow.

Im off to a NL live holdem tourney that usually runs til 5 or 6 am (if you win) Hopefully have time for some french toast and bloody marys before the match starts. Go Puerta!

England, u.k.
Backed 3 units win Roger Federer at +250

Layed 4 units Federer at -130

Backed 4 units win Justine Henin-Hardenne at +150

Layed 5 units Hein Hardenne at -250

Result:

Federer loses. -3 units for wagering on him, +4 units wagering against him. PROFIT = + 1 unit

Henin-Hardenne wins. +6 units for wagering on her, -2 units wagering aginst her. PROFIT = + 4 units.

Profit to date: + 5 units

Profit carried over from pre-medical issues: +324 units

It's nice to return to the site and post a positive result. I just wish it could have been more often and sooner.

But a win on a tournament is a win and I'm pleased with my start.

Stay tuned for the cricket "ashes" series and all through the winter months as we approach the World cup in 2006. Plenty of money to be won, so stayed tuned and hooked up to the bulldog's plays.
