Well, think about it. When have you heard of USA case and deaths reported by rate? I assume, like most of us, the answer is never. In total deaths and total cases we are world leaders, but by rate we
Are 15th in the world. Media reports total deaths not deaths per capita to further the agenda to paint us in the most negative light possible

Now, look at vaccinations. Have you seen vaccination reporting By tally, or by per capita rate? Like most of us, all you see is the reported is the vaccination rate. Looking at the numbers, we are second in the world in number of fully vaccinated citizens. But, by rate we are 27th. Coincidentally, our national media, which for the past 18 months has reported our death count By tally, is ONLY reporting our vaccine count per capita rate. Again, using whichever numbers paint is in the most negative light.


I see this, and I am not surprised. Conspiracy guy see this, and it further validate their stance that our media and our government or not to be trusted

I guess I never go by news media so I really don?t know what they are saying, I think they go by
Number instead of rate because people think they are automatically safe by the rate. My buddy was 37, died of covid fully vented. He never distanced. Used words like hoax and 99.7 % people survive it. You tell me? In a hospital setting what?s the rate of hospitalizations? I mean a very contagious virus can cripple a health care system quickly

If they stop reporting the remarkably high death count (over 600k) in favor of a mortality rate, whose agenda is getting peddled? The death rate, overall, is skewed by those under 30. As you start running it up the brackets, the mortality rate escalates dramatically. So, what numbers does it make sense to report? If you go by the overall death rate, you end up with people like Homedog saying it's no big deal and shove your vaccine up your ass......which is the LAST thing we need.

My take is Report rate and/or tally for both. Can?t worry about how somebody?s going to interpret the data. I feel strongly that we don?t need Gov to protect us from ourselves. Lay out the information, and let people decide. Some will make choices which May not seem reasonable, but that is their prerogative. By increasing transparency and eliminating the deception and manipulation of data, We would eliminate a portion of the anti-government skeptics.

Another example that comes to mind is how we stopped counting and releasing information on the number of so-called breakthrough infections. I know why, and so do you. It is to keep those who are anti-VAX don?t use that data to confirm their suspicions. I say leave all those numbers out there, and allow people to make their decisions. The vaccine is probably helping slow the spread, but more importantly it is definitely keeping people out of hospitals and out of morgues. If someone doesn?t understand that, so be it
