Aces Gold and Camelot. I'll be branching out again. Steer clear here.

My preliminary research this week was lacking in motivation and focus until Camelot came along with some lines today for wagering my imaginary money, but now I've given the task just enough effort to have a full go. Heavy on the chalk as it turns out.

Matchups @1*:

Woods(-185) over Garcia
Going straight to the prime case in search of value to test a suspicion that several players in or approaching good form will have a useful burr under their saddle from coming off an immediate (and perhaps annoying) exit from the match play festivities. Looking for an oncoming and noticeable uptick in Wood's putting and driving, taking the mantle of man to beat during the next few weeks if he doesn't ring up some disastrous holes to brake the momentum. I must be seeing the ebb with Woods this week if I'm willing to pay this price against a swaggering Garcia.

Janzen(-135) over Tway
Will Janzen's rebounding form be on display this week? Hopefully, a favorable test case for a motivated effort, too.

Price(-140) over Cabrera
Liking Price's confidence and tempo at the moment, and now we'll see if there is any momentum, and putts that drop. I also like the pairing with Allem and Durant.

Outrights @ 0.40*:
If they were available, would be leaning to offerings of Janzen(50/1), Toms(25/1), Appleby(100/1) and Price (40/1).

Lastly, it looks like the matchups for the Camelot contest offer a keen examination paper to kick off the Florida swing. The scariest thing is that it probably took Stan all of 15 minutes to piece it together. Good luck to all that took the time to try and crack those hypothetical nuts.

Firstly, Sabbatini and Furyk have withdrawn from this weeks event.
Secondly I have noticed a few plays on Parnevik which to me are extremely risky. Looking at his stats this year it is a testament to his natural ability that he has still shot some decent scores.

Driving distance 123rd
Driving Accuracy Percentage 181st
Greens in Regulation Pct. 112th
Putting Average 122nd

Last week during the World Matchplay Butch Harmon commented that Jesper had told him he had "lost" his game.
Also "Punchy" Parnevik has stated that he will play every week until he wins. He now is teeing up for the 9th consecutive week. Maybe a break and some time with the the younger P's Peg,Penny,Phillipa and Phoenix will do him the world of good.

Cut the cackle honey!!!!

My play -130 Weir v Parnevik at BET365.

Also, Nomad where is your input these days ?

Efgee,

I wouldn't want others to ride the roller coaster that I've been on. The last straw was backing Maritz at 16-1 e.w. (6 places) against mediocre opposition and he comes...... 7th

I rang Stan James up when I saw they had 80-1 Tewell (2 weeks ago) and after they quoted me 33-1 I let it go with the intention of looking for a little bigger....needless to say I didn't get around to it and he duly won.

Sometimes you've got to accept that although you're doing a lot right, you just don't need to get pounded again and again.

Changing my focus to Formula 1 for a while.....neeeeeeooooowww

Not into group betting but noticed that most books despite Furyk being scratched have not reflected this in their odds, almost makes it a bettable proposition.

I have no clue, and can provide no help. I love golf though and enjoy reading this forum.

I have what appears to be a pretty basic question. What do you mean by "course form"? Whatever it is, I have a feeling I have lousy course form.

Nighthorse It is regards to how well player has played this particular course in the past. One that has not played course prior such as Howell would have no course form.
You may want to check Stans site out @ http://www.tour-tips.com
At top you will see analysis drop down.Go to pga, course form and it will take you back several years. If your just getting into golf would suggest you stop by his site and kick tires.Clive,Ian and Bettingmad (posters here)also have sites listed in there profiles that are very helpful.

Sqeaked by. Smith was a tie and I don't know how they'll treat Sutton match as Cook was in it originally and didn't start.
Believe you were lucky omen Ian.Pick out a combo @ 365 tomorrow and email it to me and i'll make us each a wager on it.

Excellent Accumulator DOGS THAT BARK. It's hard enough to hit 2 ball multiples let alone 3 balls. Congratulations.
