Would someone please convince me not to play New York tonight? Everyone is on San Francisco tonight, and the line is moving that way. I have seen +4 at a couple of books. The line opened at +2 1/2. The Niners appear to be the obvious play to me. San Francisco made the playoffs last season with a 12-4 record. The Giants finished with a disappointing 7-9 record. All of the so-called experts are predicting San Francisco will battle St. Louis for the division crown. Those same experts aren't predicting the Giants to do much of anything. Even here in New York City, the sports writers are predicting a relatively easy San Francisco victory tonight. I know that Tiki Barber is banged up, and that New York will be starting a rookie place kicker, but don't you think those two variables have been accounted for in the line? I anticipate that the line will go up even further between now and kickoff. Too good to be true? You know what they say about those games. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Good luck tonight!
