The Ruby Slipper for breakfast/brunch - Best banana's fosters french toast I have ever eaten.

Bamboula's - Live music

Cafe' Du Monde - Beignets (French Donuts)

Louisiana Pizza Kitchen on Market Place has outstanding homemade italian food ! We ate there 2x.

Stayed at the AC Hotel Bourbon - 1 block from all the action and clean, new and modern.

A MUST - Mothers restaurant - Shrimp Poboy was off the charts ! beware always a line !

Mother's is totally over rated from the glory years since they were bought out ... Cie can verify if I am wrong but last 2 times left disappointed

back in the day it was THE place for sammiches ... the last 2 times, 2 and 4 years ago, it dropped WAY below past standards and reviews also said that ... that is why I defaulted to Cie as he lives there and totally hip to the foodie scene :0074

Owners are friends of mine. 2 engineers. They wanted a breakfast joint in midcity, so opened 1st one about 10,years ago. Have since expanded to the redneck riviera. Great breakfast spot. There are 4 in town

We loved The Court of 2 Sisters!!

We went there about 20 years ago....

The best brunch buffet that we have ever eaten in....

Plus they had a Dixieland Band....

Highly recommend it if they are still open....

Love New Orleans....Enjoy!!

Definitely Parkway for PO Boys, shrimp an oyster combined, out of this world.

I liked Patois the last time I ate there. Chef is a friend of Jack's (Cie) also.

Also loved Moscas (?), again, they were full, I told them Jack sent me, and voila! My name on the list magically went to the top and immediately seated :0008

Also forgot that love the small place in a neighborhood called Piroque's . Great grilled oysters for about 10-12 bucks a dozen. LOVED it! Doubt if Jack knows this one, but he might. By the horse race track.

I like the bacon wrapped dates. The chef was at Rambla and brought a variation of their best small plates with him.

Sons picked Acme after last football game of the season. Been a while. Charcoal frilled oysters are still on time.
