First night went to domonicas... Roasted colliflwer... Lamb meatballs... MagaritA pizza... Pretty good... Then went to Ricks.... Gf loved ricks... Now at breakfast at ruby slipper. Shrimp and grits.... Cochon po boy.
Acme for lunch... Oysters jambalaya coleslaw fries onion rings and pecan cobbler...

Salty, if you are not in a food coma later tonight get over to The Maple Leaf Bar Uptown for the Rebirth Brass Band, they usually start at about 11 - I promise you will have a good time

Stanton Moore Trio at Snug Harbor at 10 will be a little more low key but solid nonetheless if you do not want to leave the downtown area
Tonight at dba you can catch walter wolfman washington at 10pm. It certainly isnt the same energy as rebirth at the Leaf, but most def a quality live act on frenchman street just outside the quarter.

Last night went to rooftop bar at the ace.... Had skirt steak with chiimi churri... And some kind of cheese dip with bagel chips... Cheese was good but the steak was damn tuff I spit it out in my napkin... Then went to the carrousel bar... Had some blue crab beignets.... Pretty good.... Beautiful bar/lounge... The. Walked back over to ricks... Got some pizza at pizza works... Chicken bacon pizza... Pretty good...
Started off at district donuts yesterday... Nutella donut... Falafel.... Really good... Shrimp... And fried chicken.... Then down to Bulldogs for some long islands.... Rally good there... Had the Tex mex egg rolls... Pretty good. Then went to st lawaerence for some Mac and cheese... Not the fanciest of Mac and cheeses but it was delicious. Then on the way home stopped at brothers for some fried chicken and meat pies... Those meat pies though
Today went to parkway bakery... Surf and turf poboy ... Shrimp poboy for the gf and cheese fri s with a bread pudding cake rum sauce... Unfuckinbelievable this place ... Great hospitality... By far my favorite place to go so far... Then down to the ice house bar at the hotel Proven?al...my favorite bar in New Orleans...
