Even tho the America-hating justices on the Supreme Court tried hard to circumvent the easily understood language of our Constitution, the majority has decided that yes, the second Amendment does actually say "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be abridged." It's a simple phrase, not hard to understand.
Thank god we have English speakers on the Supreme Court, other wise we might have more jurists saying you have no right to own a gun, when every law professor in America understands that the framers knew that without a gun in your RIGHT hand, the limitations on your RIGHTS (see the connection?) would be insurmountable. All the records from our early history clearly show a group of individuals who feared a government take-over of our country. To help prevent that eventuality, they installed an easily understood law that prevented government from taking away your guns. If the general populace was unarmed, as todays leftists so desperately want, we'd be ripe for all sorts of government abuse of our rights.
The left-wingers who troll these forums, who have ZERO understanding of law and jurisprudence, (or common courtesy or respect, for that matter, good job "centrists", lol, good one) will of course spout off and pronounce some bullshit crap about how they know more about our constitution than the Supreme Court, and they'll post all sort of crazy shit saying individual Americans have no rights, we are vassals in a feudal society, we are peons, we should be grateful the government lets us keep any of the money we work for, etc.
It does get trite, and it is bothersome that these left-wing nut job use the very right they rally against to rally against the very rights they rally against.
Of course, none of the left-wing wackos who troll these forums has any idea of how law is conceived or implemented or debated among jurists, they'll just pop off about how people have NO right to do anything unless the government lets them.
The lawsuit that is in question, that clears up the fact that yes the Constitution really does say "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be abridged" really does mean that, is from a guy who lives a FEW BLOCKS FROM THE SUPREME COURT, where armed security guards are everywhere.
Diane Feinstein, that upstanding citizen that she is immediately pronounced that having guns will make you less safe....
The left-wing nut jobs in this country are so full of shit.
Thank god we have a majority on the court who can speak and read English.
