Had my review. Was going to ask for 7.5% going in(The typical standard seems to be 5% for our yearly reviews). Before we even got to the topic, my boss said he's giving me a 19% raise.

Hard work really does pay off. Kind of surreal to it still.

I do manage my own team, but I wish I was the boss! haha How I grew up and came from, it's incredible to be where I am and making the money I do now. Never did I ever imagine I could make it this far. This isn't a brag, but simply just kind of soaking it all in finally. Not wanting to go back to that lifestyle motivated me every day. My mother is so happy and proud and that makes me happy.

Thanks everyone, appreciate the kind words! I think sometimes I work so hard and get in a groove I forget how much I'm worth or feel like they're just used to it. They definitely showed their gratitude!
