olazabal looked pretty good. That bunker shot he made on 17 yesterday was impossible. If you are behind that hole you are lucky to be anywhere near that hole.

What exactly was the surgery that Bjorn had? Shoulder problems again?

Good to see so many Aussies on the leaderboard - always been a good event for our guys.

Final update:

Matchups: 4-1-0; +2.75 units

Singh/Huston WON by 13
Verplank/Montgomerie WON by 8

Outrights: 0-3; -3.00 units

Toms 17th
Verplank 14th
Leonard 6th

Disappointing to not even break even on this event. Won four of five matchups and all three outrights were in contention for a place win, but none did. Definitely improving after a difficult start to the year with this Tour though.

PGA Tour ytd
Matchups: 33-38; -16.93 units
Outrights: 5-30; -15.39 units

All Tours ytd
Matchups: 72-68; -8.70 units
Outrights: 20-88; +22.41 units

Another chapter in this season's book of players doing nasty things to my place money... Leonard bogies the last while Maruyama birdies it when t'other way round would have secured a clear place.
Will keep some of the toys in my pram as at least one of the offending places was Olazabal which augurs well for the Masters.... speaking of which... had to row in with DTB and have a saver on Vijay after yesterdays bogey free round... just can't resist taking the 33/1 at the Tote (still there now) so I get a warm glow inside when it's snipped later today

Backed Perks in Honda Classic and Singh in the Players, not the weeks they won. Getting the hang of this warped approach to picking winners and have good one lined up for Bell South. Will tell you when I get price...
