Six, stop wasting your time! He said it best himself, he "doesn't get it." It's not your job to explain it to him, let him figure it out. If he does great, if not oh well. If you want to hunt fine, if you don't fine. Nobody has to explain themselves to anybody. Good luck this weekend to everyone that hunts. To those that don't, have a great weekend doing whatever it is that you love doing.

That wasn't very funny. I personally take offense to you making fun of the seaweed. There should be affirmative action for seaweed - it is very discriminated against.

Kelp, I need somebody,
Kelp, not just anybody,
Kelp, you know I need someone, kelp.

When I was younger, so much younger than today,
I never needed anybody's kelp in any way.
But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured,
Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors.

Kelp me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being round.
Kelp me, get my feet back on the ground,
Won't you please, please kelp me.

Jack

we are not trying to hurt the hunters.

we are just trying to understand them more better.

:SIB

Thats a friken joke scott. The whole bases of the thread is to put down hunters like sixfive and bubbas1. I guess you think we are all just stupid hicks. Yea you are the smart one. I admit it. You know whats best for all of us. Not more hunting for all. We will let the Deer overpopulate and die of starvation. Yea thats the ticket.
If you do not like it so be it. You do not have to. And thats allright. To each his own. Like Jack said. It is a legal sport that millions of americans partake in.And 98% of them are good people. The best you would ever want to meet. But do not bring your lame ass in here claiming to try and understand. A statement like that by you makes me think you are the type of individual I would not want to trust. Yea we are all stupid Scott. You the man. You the man. You the man. You the man. You the man. You the man. You the man.

I like the photo aspects for sympathy purposes.

Wonder why there were none of chickens in pens going to slaughter and then flopping around when their heads are chopped off--or pigs-cows going to slaughter.

OK to slaughter penned animals but hunting those in the wild - not?

However I am with you on those clubbing the baby seals--and would love opportunity to club the clubbers :)

SYDNEY (AFP) - An Australian state government's plans to shoot more than 10,000 wild horses to protect the environment were Sunday attacked by some animal rights activists as inhumane.

The Queensland government had attempted to keep the cull of the horses, or brumbies, a secret because of fears of a public outcry.

But government documents confirming the cull were obtained by the media while the Save the Brumbies charity reproduced photographs it said are of the cull on its website.

One of the images shows a foal standing over its dead mother while the second shows a horse left to die with a wound to its rump and gut.

Animal rights groups accept the government's argument that the horses are causing soil erosion, destroying freshwater springs, damaging Aboriginal cultural sites and competing with native wildlife for food.

But they say the vast overpopulation of the animals should have been dealt with years ago, and shooting the brumbies from helicopters was the result of years of brushing the issue under the carpet.

"For years and years the problem of wild horses has not been addressed," Jan Carter of Save the Brumbies told AFP.

"And then the idea is 'Well, let's go in and shoot them.'

"It's very inhumane. You've only got to see the photos to know they died in agony."

Brumby Watch Australia's Kristine Sempf told Brisbane's Courier-Mail newspaper the animals could be tamed.

The RSPCA condoned the cull but said the better solution would be to inject the mares with infertility drugs rather than shoot the horses dead or maim them and leave them to die.

"We would like to see the anti-fertility drugs instigated immediately so it reduces the need to have culls like this in other areas in the future," spokesman Michael Beatty told AFP.

Thousands of feral animals roam Australia's vast continent including horses, camels, donkeys, pigs, European wild rabbits, European red foxes, cats and goats.

With few natural predators and vast sparsely-populated areas in which to live, their populations have soared, putting pressure on native species by preying on them, competing for food, destroying habitat and spreading disease.

At Bostick Plantation, our goal is to give you the Hunt of a Lifetime while entertaining you with the down-home Southern Hospitality that we are famous for. Bostick Plantation consists of more than 10,000 acres of prime wildlife habitat that has been intensely managed for wildlife for more than 30 years.

Trophy Deer Hunts:

Bostick Plantation's management techniques are state-of-the-art. Hundreds of acres planted in game food plots. Deer stands have been erected at proven high performance locations. Spots where those big 8 to 12 point trophies are likely to frequent. Bostick Plantation stands have been constructed with hunter comfort, safety, and concealment in mind. Our stands are made of steel or wood frame, either free standing or leaners. We strongly recommend the minimum of a 3 day hunt for a better chance to bag a trophy buck. However, we can gladly accommodate longer or shorter hunts.

Wild Russian Boar Hunting:

All Year Long! 2 Boar Per Day. Bostick Plantation has the best hog hunting in the South. Russian boar flourish in our ancient plantation swamps. These hogs are offspring of Russian boars imported by ancestors and released at Bostick several generations back. These boar are tough, gamey and exciting to hunt. They populate the many swamp and river bottoms that form part of the Savannah River watershed bordering Bostick Plantation. The minimum stay for boar hunting is 2 days. Lodging and transportation to the stand area is provided.

Turkey Hunting:

On a typical day of turkey hunting at Bostick Plantation, you wake up before daybreak, enjoy coffee and Danish rolls and discuss the morning's plan with your guide. You get your camo gloves, face net, gun, camo cushion, and boots and we take you into the woods. You and your guide will go to a good listning spot and listen for that old boss gobbler to wake up the woods with a resounding gobble-gobble-gobble! Now, you know where he is. It's time to quietly slip within about 150 yards and settle in for a very exciting hunt!

........................................................

Does this qualify for hunting .

Just wondering

Trophy Hunters Alberta is the most prominent and successful outfitter in Alberta, Canada. We focus our hunting efforts on what we do best, hunting black bear, elk, moose, mule deer and whitetail deer. We also provide complimentary wolf and coyote hunting on all of our big game hunts.

Hunters should see a variety of big game oppotunities. We can not guarantee a kill, but we can guarantee the hunting experience of a lifetime with the potential for world-class results. We will help you spot the game, you decide whether it meets your criteria, and if so, the hunt will be on. We utilize many hunting techniques, be it calling, spot and stalk, working the bush, ground blind hunting behind camo or in a simulated hay bale, tree stand hunting or some combination of these proven techniques.

Complimentary wolf and coyote hunting.

I guess that means they hate them so blast them as soon as you see them.

You've worked hard for this hunt. You've waited for your tag to be drawn, taken off work, convinced your spouse it's a good idea, and have done all the planning involved to hopefully ensure a success. But after it all pays off and you've got the animal on the ground, you're the only one who knows how it happened. That's why we're here.

Predator House Productions will give you an attractive way for you to illustrate your experiences, prove your tall tales, and preserve your accomplishment for years to come. From taking in the majestic beauty of the landscape to capturing that heart pounding moment of victory, let Predator House Productions create TV-quality video along with professional, digitally enhanced photography to accompany your trophy.

From allowing you to host your own hunting show to creating stunning photographs of your hunting location, Predator House Productions has the capability of summarizing your experiences into an impressive video or album. We produce a wide variety of individual and professional videos so if you are hunting duck, moose or anything in between, we have the tools for the job. We also work with any ideas you have so whether it be narration, interviews, or reality television, we can create your video how you would want to watch it. If professional photographs are more your style, let us capture every step of your journey with digitally enhanced still images.

Take a look at our credentials. Combining top-notch videography with the skills of hunting is a challenging task. Most people that try it specialize only in one area while trying to compensate for the other. Not us. We're pretty good at both.
