Do you think this might be a software problem somewhere? Thats what its looking like to me. Maybe it showed -435 on the computer screen but after Stag placed the wager somewhere in the software it showed -135. Just an opinion..

But i agree with Stag. If it was a bad line why did the move it 3 points and why did they leave the pending wager up till 2:00 minutes left in the game?

Jack, since I could log in today does that mean I have not been banned for voicing my thoughts. It seems that others think the same.

Would you like to apologize to me for being mean? :thumb: :slomo

Stag,

Give us an update, has this matter been taken care of. I ask because I have some friends that have an account with 5dimes and they deserve to know if there is a chance they could be screwed in the future.

Thanks

Jack, I may catch the blame for this but you know I really did not start it. 5Dimes needs to step up and treat Stagg as a good customer. He is a little less willing to distrub the water and chances are if 5D had offered him 1/2 of the 1K early on, he would have been satisfied.

Still think this is the best site around. Really the only one I visit and I have 2 of your shirts that I wear everywhere.

Hope you can get it done and we can move on.

I agree im getting tired of the bad line angle also. this happened to me about 2 years ago with an online book and have been sour about it ever since. First off dont put 25 different lines up if you cant keep up with them, 2nd if you make a mistake fess up and pay, my lord its $1,000. people always talk about not having to deal with locals but fuk its actually the same dealing online.

maybe we should post a little thread in the GD forum. I doubt everyone seen this one. 5D has let me down on this one!

Bill,

Jesus christ dude, Jack hasn't banned you. Let it go. I am tired of reading about you logging on each day and realizing you can still post here.
You are nagging like an old lady.

After reading the thread several times I have to agree with the player Stag here. He really should have emailed Jack the moment this happened. Knowing Jack, he'll try his best to get this issue resolved to the best of his ability. He's helped me out in the past and has a lot of pull.

This is turning out to be some nice advertising for five dimes sportsbook :mj07: :mj07:

I know I'll NEVER play there unless I see resolution here and I'm sure many feel the same.....

$2,449.25 was the customer's beginning balance when he started wagering on the +7.5 halftime line. If he had a line of -435 and -450, just how did he manage to bet to win $1000. At a price of -435, it would take a wager of $2175 to win $500. At a second price of -450, it would take a wager of $2250 to win $500. Seems to me that would take a wager of $2175 + $2250 = $4425 to win $1000. Just how can this happen when there is less then $2500 in the account?
I don't like customers lying in posts. I also don't like negative posts thrown about in forums. At a supposed price of -435, the a wager on the customer's balance at the time would be $2449.25 to win $563.04. This wager will be entered into the system and credited.
Keep in mind, this forum is now clear on 5Dimes stance regarding clearly wrong lines. If you try to cash in on a line that far off at 5Dimes in the future, a resolution such as the one above will be out of the question.

this case is closed. thank you tony and thank everybody else. stag said he would compromise for $500 and tony went better than that. tony says stag didn't even have enough money in his account to make the wagers he claims. stag says he did.

one persons word vs. another persons word. can't prove anything. both 5dimes and stag have perfect history. they compromised and it's over.

i'm closing this down and taking any other negative threads about this situation down in the future (Bill?). CASE CLOSED!

please, in the future, anybody with a problem, email me before starting something on the forum. none of this was necessary.

thanks
