an old girlfriend of mine made a greek dish called "fakes"(she pronounced it "fahkee")...it`s lentil soup with lots of vegetables and garlic....doesn`t sound great but the stuff is amazing....particularly on a cold day...

if you want to get creative, cook up some hotdogs(I don`t eat much meat anymore so I don`t but it`s great with it) or bacon and throw it in there....

stuff is insanely good on a cold day...make a pot and brown up some garlic bread.....it won`t last long...

give the wife a project...

btw...I don`t need the wine vinegar or grated tomatoes or even the curry powder..(the tomato sauce or paste is fine......just pick out any obviously bad lentils and rinse the rest well)...

btw..i don`t know where they get that "3 tablespoons of tomato sauce"....I make an entitre bag of lentils so I use two 8 oz cans of tomato sauce or paste....I also cut up several stalks of celery and some carrots. and throw em in there...

I lb bag of lentils
2- 8 oz cans of tomato sauce or paste
2 or 3 cloves garlic(or garlic powder)
medium onion
2-3 stalks of celery...2-3 small carrots
2-4 tablespoons olive oil(do 2 or 3)
hotdogs or bacon if you want(I`d grill em first)

simmer the ingredients in the sauce while you sort and rinse the lentils...add 5 or so cans of water....you`ll probably need to add more water(it will start to get thick)...stir occasionally...

promise you`ll love it...

I've never prapred it, but eat it plenty fall and winter at a local hole in the wall middle eastern market. About the best $ 4.95 I can spend. I sometimes dip spanikopita (spinach pies) in it. Outstanding

Chili definitely!!! My sister in law gave me a recipe for shrimp chowder too and that is awesome! I like home made chicken corn soup too. Roast beef mashed taters and noodles is pretty high up on my list too!

I think so. :0008

Gumbo has to be a high ranker too.

I make turkey gumbo once a year, takes a couple of days after thanksgiving. I throw the left over turkey into a big stock pot after carving and boil all the meat off the bones, and use a strainer to get all the bones and cartilage out before I throw all the veggies, sausage and everything else into the pot. I also refrigerate and skim all the fat from the sausage from the top which makes it much healthier to consume. Very tasty and good on a cold winters day!

So are you done verbally bashing me with your drunken tirade yet? So classy of you to post it on here- you forgot to post it on facebook too. We all know the whole bowling alley heard it last night. This was just the tip of the iceberg- how about finishing so everyone really understands what kind of douchebag you really are.

fat fucking cunt

- should i go on?

how about 2 am when you fell off the couch and stumbled into the bathroom because you couldn't stand upright. I bet your mother would be proud!!
