It's always those who have no children who are the experts in child-rearing. I like u a lot, but that really rubs me the wrong way.

I think spanking is ok but only as a last resort and to teach the child a life lesson in self-preservation (spank johnny if he is playing by the road and doesn't immediately come to you when called, spank Johnny if he unbuckles his car seat and starts roaming the back seat and will not stop, and spank johnny if he is being a bully to a girl or a smaller child). "Ass beating" shouldn't be taken lightly, replace communication, be done in anger, nor replace a relationship with God (bring on the MJ anti-Christians).

I digress, and I agree this thread is stupid, and I apologize to the forum for my part in it and to you OS in advance for this response. I'm sure if you had been blessed by children, they would have had a great father.
