Staying at Flamingo because of location and cost.

I don't particularly care for the Flamingo but the room is for sleep only anyway and it's a great location for the places I visit most. I have been staying there a lot the last few trips out to Vegas.

I get there a full 24 hours before Smurph.

Once I get checked in and situated in the room I'm heading down the block for a 190 Octane. :0008

Then I'll head over to the Quad to checkout their sportsbook. I watched games a few years ago with Terryray when it was Imperial Palace and it was decent but since the remodel I heard it's a lot better so will see for myself.

We plan on ALL DAY Sportsbook football watching for Saturday and Sunday and want a decent place that's generous with the drink tickets, has good service, and has good viewing. We plan on watching with Hedman and Dr Feelgood as well.

Flamingo sportsbook is half decent and might be watching there. Who knows

After The Quad I'm gonna jump on the Monorail and head to the Hilton. I keep hearing that it's the best place so will check it out once again. Smurphy isn't too fond of the place for some reason but I'm checking it out again anyway.

Any suggestions?

more later.

I suppose the SuperBook at LVH is still the standard for it's size, history, expertise, and wide choice of betting options. I never went there much myself, except to grab one of the fine italian subs in the sportsbook deli - they make the subs similar to the way they do at the famous White House Subs in Atlantic City (which used to have an outpost at the LVH).

But I ended up going there every morning one March Madness as LVH was about the only book in town offering moneylines on some of the big favorites in the two weeks before MM, parlaying which was my bread and butter at the time....

Jack trips to Vegas can be summed up as.......

Jack gets free flights

Jack gets free rooms

Jack always wins like 1 million dollars on video poker

When I grow up I want to be Jack.

Can't wait for the 25 still photos of Jack at the Video Poker machine with Royal Flushes on max credits:)

Very true...although the William Hill books are getting more and more like the William Hill website (UK website) which means a ton of betting options.

nothing better than opening weekends for college football and the NFL :0074
Maybe you can find your way up the road for a visit.

Maybe dinner and a MNF game? :00hour
Pretty sure Senor Capper is up for that.

Last time I stayed there I got stuck in a elevator for 30 minutes. The flashbacks to the movie Speed were emotionally troubling, lol. The deluxe go rooms were ok but they were free for me. Have fun.
