I'm really surprised, but they have a lot of guys coming into that weight class from WEC and TUF. hard to make room for everybody.

davis is a tough guy,but he`s taken some serious punishment late in his career..at his age, this might be it,ufc-wise...

GW makes a good point.....but Davis looked good at 155.....and he was 2 minutes away from beating Stephens.

jr11......the event in Toronto could have nobody on it and 65 000 would show up (although Dana said he'd cut it at 40 000). The card is stacked with :canada1 and that's all that matters. The UFC will make more money then they ever had (will destroy UFC 100 $$$). Simply put it would be dumb to load the card up, they don't need it.

GSP headline.....Randy....and a ton of :canada1 on the card....that equals massive profits.

And all of Ontario will be going ape-shit....100 percent ape-shit. I don't think those in USA realize just how popular MMA is in Ontario, it is nuts:scared

Point noted. I buy all of the PPVs regardless and dont post plays but do bet a few here or there, just addicted I guess, going to start screwing around here locally with some training myself that is how much I like it.

If only I was a little younger, being 38 just will go do it for a workout and fun, but if I was in my 20's would probably do it to compete even in local circuits. I routinely hit the heavy bag in my house, it is a good workout for those that don't know.

What classes will you be taking? BJJ is fun and the science behind it is very cool but I find it hurts my body at my age(38) then other things do. I grew up taking TKD but I don't find much use for it anymore. I haven't taken much MT but I did like what classes I was in.

I am going to take TKD. I'm 36, and I've never taken any MA classes in my life. I hope nobody films me sparring with 8 year olds.

I doubt you'll do much real sparring but if you do make sure you take some pain reliever before you go. I know when I did some MT that the strikes to my head left me with a headache that you wouldn't believe. After a few times you don't get the headaches but at first it's pretty rough.

I'm getting ready to take some Krav Maga and I'm pretty excited about it. I have some things to finish up since it's my busy time of the year but after that I'm ready to go. If you've never heard of it or looked at it you may want to check it out.

KM is what I originally had my eye on. The place that I have the year's gift certificate doesn't offer it. I think any one of the martial arts will be good for me.
