KM is what I originally had my eye on. The place that I have the year's gift certificate doesn't offer it. I think any one of the martial arts will be good for me.

That's awesome you have a years gift certificate. Can't beat that! You'll enjoy TKD. I can still remember my first belt test. We had to do a number of things but one thing was a running, jumping, kicking a board and breaking it. I was so amped up that I jumped way too high and ended up totally missing the board. Not one of my finer moments.

My son is wanting to take something and I've been going back and forth on what to put him in. He has a friend that already takes BJJ and the kid is a beast. Basically when all of the kids are messing around they all fight like crazy to get him from taking them down. Once he gets them down you know one of them is going to be begging him to stop.

Buddy of mine was training. Big strong tough kid but impatient as they get. He told me they put him in there with this overweight wrestler who knew what he was doing. Said the wrestler was using his big stomach and he couldn't get away from it. Said he thought he was gonna suffocate :mj07:

Even tho u have to give Brock credit for doing this and taking this fight i see no way he could beat Dos Santos.

Well at least Brock didn't run into the forest and never come back.

Dos Santos will absolutely maul Brock....Brock will get toyed with...again.

Feel horrible for any fighter on Brock's team. Only thing he can teach is how to run away like a little bitch when ya get hit....:mj07:

And Coach K.....not sure what you are talking about...GSP never waited for any title shot. He was either hurt or filming the TUF show. He has never "waited" for a fight....ever.

Think Coach was saying he waits for them when he knows he has home field advantage. :0002

HELL
Got to give Dana credit on this, with all the talk of Strikeforces Heavyweight Tournament, he goes and pulls this off most likely with a boot load of $$ for Lesnar. This should attract the casual viewer as I am sure some want to see Lesnar up close, and for the rest of us MMA junkies a chance to get to know JDS. A win win if you ask me. While some might give Lesnar credit, I do so more to JDS for not waiting around or talking on someone of a lesser risk.

For the record.....I give em both credit for going on the TUF show. Brock knows he is going to get toyed with again, but at least took the fight. Dos Santos has trouble with the English language but will put himself on TV trying to speak English. That ain't easy.

I was kind of hoping they would go with lighter coaches to help promote those divisions but this move makes sense

Brock is the biggest ratings draw and this will only help JDS go to the next level

Let me clarify, of course financially and for viewership this makes sense for the UFC and Brocks image but from a long time follower and fan of technique and learning, I hate this decision. Brock has nothing to teach these guys, he will bring in his strength and conditioning guys from MN but what does he have to offer? How to take steroids? I mean come on.
Put Pettis on the show and have him bring Duke and the Roufus guys on there as coaches and heck let Guida be the other coach with Jackson's team. Lets find out who has the best camp and TEAM. These two teams would teach morre in one day than Brocks team teaches them in 6 weeks.

Kick - You know exactly what I meant about GSP, he fights twice a year and it is annoying. I must say that my frustration from his fighting style of past years is being relaxed by his last two performances. Bottom line, pt your title on the line twice a year!
