smurph....i posted it as sort of comic relief.....as it seems that edwards is basically irrelevant.....
i would hope it`s not true given his wife`s situation...
imo,he is a bit of a sanctimonious lightweight...and he`s a lawyer...so,maybe i was swayed by these non-redeeming qualities...
but,in hindsight,i`m sorry i posted it.....

Two days ago, Fox was showing McCain at a rally with a bunch of supporters waiving McCain signs in front of the camera. Ole John looked surprisingly good. When they slow moed the film down, good old fair and balanced Fox was showing a clip from a McCain rally from 2000 in an effort to make John boy look eight years younger.
You'll excuse me if I wait for a news source other than the National Enquirer and f'ing Fox to report on this story before I put an ounce of credence into it.

Wow, this is really weak, even for you. You were waiting for more "evidence" other than the Enquirer, and what did you come across? A story from FauxNews...how surprising. And to highlight two comments from the "evidence" you link to:
Police department spokesman Tony Lee said Publicker told him that Edwards was not named on the incident report.
FOXNews.com could not independently confirm the Enquirer's allegations. Perel also declined to identify where the Enquirer received the information about Edwards' alleged visits.

that was the first thought that occured to me. If you read the story, they jumped out at him, threw their microphones in his face, and he took off down a hallway to get away from them. But not one picture.
if he was in a motel from 8 pm to 2 am with this strange woman and had to hide in a bathroom and wait for security to show up, ,given his wife`s situation,then fvck him...he`s a cretin(there is a security guard verifying this story)

I really don't care who Edwards, Clinton, Gingrich, Gingrich's sister, Cheney's daughter, Larry Craig, Abram Jackahoff, John McCain, David Vitter, Mark Foley, etc bang or try to bang. I won't vote or not vote for them because of their respective fidelity or infidelity to their respective spouses or significant others. That criteria is not high on my list of reasons to vote for or against someone. As a matter of fact, it is not on my list.
The only reason I vote for anyone is I am voting my opinion as to whether that person will do a good job in office. Will he or she leave the job and its constituents in a better position than when he or she was sworn in taking all circumstances into consideration including surrounding factors and the future. Does the person represent the good of the people or special interests overall?
If he or she does the above and he or she toe taps in the john at lax or stains blue dresses in the oval office and lies about it under oath, I could care less. He or she gets my vote. Period the end. You can be horrified, throw your bibles at them, and call them immoral all you want, but as far as being a leader of the country I will stand by them (although not too close).
