Former Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards slipped out the back door of yet another hotel on Wednesday.
The Raleigh News and Observer reports that Edwards was in Washington for an AARP Foundation symposium at Hotel Monaco and avoided reporters for the second time in as many weeks. He escaped through a fourth-floor side area used by kitchen staff, and then through a handicap ramp at the rear of the hotel.
Edwards refused to answer reporters' questions about a story in the National Enquirer that says he visited a woman ? said to be his mistress ? and their love child at a hotel in California last week

Looks like the poor white boy working in the mill shore has growed up, eh? I always thought that something was behind his quick and complete departure from the race - at best his desire to secure a prominent role in the next administration, or that something was hiding in his story.
Apparently, we now know. Yes, very sad for his wife. These stories continue to disappoint, don't they? Especially the people that try to get us to believe in their morality as an important feature, and then we find out otherwise, like Edwards (apparently).

i had a feeling Weasel would be vindicated in this matter. Why i took it easy on him. People can say what they want about the National Inquirer but a lot of times they get it right.
On another note what is it about a guy like him who runs for president but thinks he will not be caught sneaking around like this? Was Edwards around during the Clinton years or working in another country? Was he doing this shit when Kerry had him as his VP nomination? It really is a complete disgrace and throw in that his wife has cancer makes it even worse. Then again she might be cheating herself who the hell knows with these creeps. I really believe that one huge reason we got conned into Iraq was because Clinton stuck the DTB finger in our face and the right pounced on the gullible to move their agenda forward. Now this jackoff Edwards is pulling the same shit? Spitzer gets caught but Edwards is still running for president:shrug: Just sad.

"i" wasn`t right about it...i just put it up......if edwards wasn`t,imo,a sanctimonious s.o.b.(2 americas my ass) and he didn`t have a wife with terminal cancer,i wouldn`t have bothered.....
and i wonder what the story on his "aide" is?....you know,the one that supposedly had the affair with this woman and fathered the child....
you mean edwards threw this guy under the bus....had this poor schmuck and his family take the fall to save his own ass?.....
they`re saying that edwards AND his aide had affairs with this woman almost simultaneously?.....and the aide is the father?....while edwards is moving her all over the country and throwing money at her?....
