(p.s. cant wait for the football to start....cricket is no good for betting action!)
Tell me about it! I've been more interested in the England/Pak series, which has been fairly entertaining at least.
(Oh, and yeah, I get your point...let's resume hostilities in 10 years!
)
Palehose...(damn, this is actually feels degrading, but here we go)....
...So we went to was against Iraq?
Our main mission was to dispose of Saddam?...um, No. Actually. According to Bush and most of your right-wing buddies here (which I dare say you are losing by the second!...oh, except your alter-ego's of course
), the mission was to quell international terrorism...which of course, is an ongoing fight.
Let me ask you this....If we have won, why are we still fighting and dying?
Saddam has been gone for months...we haven't been fighting an Iraqi 'army' for years!!
How many people were killed in WWII after Germany surrendered I wonder??
We're not fighting a
country . The powers that be never professed to be fighting a country (although they went ahead and still did it!)
Reach as much as you like, but Saddam was never a key figure in world terrorism.
But anyway....well done. We've 'taken over a country' and 'won'....Now what? (Same as the last year or so I can only assume? :shrug: )
(PS. See how normal people can post rationally and sensibly without resorting to a heap of stupid names and a bunch of random smiles?)
