Fedor not signing with the UFC is a disgrace. It's pretty obvious to me that he doesn't want to risk damaging his "legacy" by actually fighting somebody who might beat him. Look for Fedors next three opponents in M-1 to be the following:

Tamatacanov

Pussikov

Chickenov

Fedor has NEVER backed down from a single fight.
Again his loyalty to M1 is holding him back.
Everyone acts like he doesn't fight anyone.
He was supposed to fight Barnett and most HW ranks have him either #2 or #3.
This is clearly his management who is trying to steal a piece of the UFC pie and Dana wants nothing to do with that(Can't blame him).

Give me one instance Fedor refused a tough fight.

In Russia management is handled differently than the US. Here you fire some jackass like Scott Boras and think nothing of it. In Russia you are committed and have little say in it. This is M1 turning down the UFC offers, not Fedor. Dana even said so.

This is your instance.....This was Faydor chance to prove his was the best, and instead of steping up,
he proved that he is a pussy and will continue to fight against very mediocre competition.

I don't buy all the management bullshit, you either have a pair and schedule the fight, or in Faydor's case, continue to wear a skirt.....

Let's not forget the fact that this was a blockbuster deal, unprecedented by anything else in MMA by a long shot....he's pathetic

Chance to prove he is the best?

How so? To beat the fraud that is 4-1 Brock.

I think he has proven himself over the years.

He beat Nog twice with a N/C once and beat Cro Cop once.
He was more than ready and willing to fight Barnett.

That is 4 fights against the top 5 fighters with no losses.

http://www.topgunmma.com/rankings.php?div=5

By those rankings 4 of the top 10 HW's are not even in the UFC and he is willing to fight any of them so don't say he ducks top competition.

Let's wait and see what happens after this upcoming M1 card in late August.

If Fedor was indeed hungry for Lesnar then he would have stepped up. I admit that, but try and sell the BS about not being the top guy. If he is not then who is and PLEASE don't try and sell me boring one dimensional Lesnar.

kegray....nobody is saying Fedor sucks, but if you want to be the best ya gotta fight the best. Guy clearly has not fought the best. he didn't "step up", simple as that.

Dos Santos, Carwin, Couture, Mir, and Brock are all in UFC, ducking all of them doesn't do much for your so called legacy. Stop living in the past, Fedor's time was now to "step up" and he failed, guy is a disgrace. Other guys on pound for pound list consistently fight the best, Fedor is not one of them. Hong Man Choi, Sylvia and Arlovski are not exactly incredible wins.

Fedor has no interest it fighting the best, he just doesn't. Can't wait to see who he fights next:mj07:

Failed to step up indeed but look at the fighters outside the UFC and I can see guys of equal status in the HW class.

Brett Rogers equal to Carwin. Both big punchers, both unbeaten, both really only have 1 quality win.

Barnett equal to Lesnar. Just because Barnett is not as hyped as Lesnar doesn't mean he is not equal or even better.

Roided Overeem is equal to both Mir or Couture. What has Mir done? Got lucky to beat Lesnar and beat a shot Nog. I mean Mir got KO'd by Vera last year.
Who knows how good Couture is right now?

Not sure why everyone thinks the UFC has some sort of measuring stick HW fighters in it?

Of all the weight classes in the UFC, the HW may just be the weakest as you got Dos Santos, Lesnar, and Carwin as good up and comers. The rest are over the hill.

Fedors last big fight was against Cro Cop.....way back in December of 2005. That is 3.5 years ago...a lifetime in MMA. Since then he has faced a collection of washed up has-beens. Mirko gave Fedor the toughest fight of his career...moved into the UFC and proceeded to get demolished by Gonzaga and decisioned by a mediocre Congo. I am sure Fedor took note of that.
All Fedor had to do was tell his "management" ditch the co-promotion angle...I can beat these bums easy...it will be a piece of cake, and then sign the richest contract in MMA history.

But he didn't.

The facts don't lie.

Everyone and I mean everyone(Kickserv included) said he was stepping up vs. Arlovski?? Is it his fault Arlovski chin went soft overnight?
Not his fault Barnett ruined that fight either.

You tell somebody with Russian mob ties that I am bailing on your business and leaving you with no market name fighter to do my own thing.

AM I THE ONLY ONE WONDERING WHY IT IS ALL FEDOR'S MANAGEMENT CALLING THE SHOTS AND NOT FEDOR?
Mob rules. Why do you think Dana doesn't want them getting their hands wet in the UFC?
The mob in the US may be somewhat a thing of the past but in Russia it is as strong as ever.

The problem is M1 is trying to use Russian bully tactics and play only by there rules and not concede a single thing. M1 has little to no chance of growth and that is why they want the cross promote with UFC. Dana should say we will allow it for 1 maybe 2 of Fedor only fights to see if that will help your company, but after that no more.
This will never happen and I can't blame Dana for it not happening, but it seems only chance for Fedor to UFC.

All I have to say is it sucks. I think he's the best but we'll never know for sure.

On a good note, I'm going to get to see VITOR fight Rich. Hell yeah, two of my favorite fighters going at it. Tough fight for Vitor to come back to the UFC for, I think Rich might be too well rounded for him.

Some of these comments are down right hysterical. Fedor now sucks and doesn't fight anyone. If Arloski beats him Arloski is now considered one of the best because of his linking with Freddy Roach. Arloski gets demolished and again its Fedor fighting bums:mj07: . Why don't we be honest guys. Ur feelings are hurt because Fedor hasn't signed and it is that simple. Don't ever watch boxing because this kind of stuff goes on all the time. If Fedor signs with the UFC and demolishes Brock it will be that Brock wasn't ready just yet. Randy was just to old. Carwin not experienced enuf. Bottom line today Fedor was supposed to fight one of the best in the world and got screwed because the guy is a cheat..

For the record I never said Fedor sucks. The guy is pathetic in my book, but I am the first to admit that Fedor does not suck. And Arlovski was beating Fedor, and Arlovski is one of the few guys that Fedor has fought that is any good. As for Josh, he is massively over-rated in my book, although that doesn't matter because Josh will never fight again.

Fedor and all his nuthuggers should be ashamed. If GSP ever did what Fedor is doing I wouldn't cuddle with him any longer.

I have more respect for Kimbo and Brock then I do for Fedor. Fedor very high on the "no respect" rankings. Fedor is a pathetic excuse for a fighter, a good fighter yes, a pathetic one, also yes.

Why do you have more respect for those guys?

Instead of fighting the best two HW fighters in the game in Fedor and Barnett, Brock ran to the weak UFC HW class for the money.

If Brock wanted Fedor then he could have went to him.

Brock's first fight vs Choi was in Bodog and could have easily stayed if he wanted to fight the best.
He wanted fame,attention, and money.

Sorry. He was supposed to fight Choi but Choi had to back out. All those big worthless Koreans are the same to me.
That was in the LA Col. and that was Bodog/K1.Min Soo Kim replaced Choi.
Like there was much of a difference.

With another wrestler.... Nakao fighten Mu Bae Choi 2nite... thought 4 a second dropped the ball when looking over Mu's fights if I missed Lesnar...

Mu would have given Lesnar a tougher time than Kim, but result would have been the same.
