TUF Spoiler?? Anybody else heard this? I wouldn't be suprised, ha ha! :mj07:

The spoiler is that Wes Sims snuck an iphone or something into the tuf house and was posting updates while he was in there. His update said that Kimbo got brutally knocked out in his first fight. Then there was a fight in the house between wes and kimbo and wes was kicked out.

All kinds of rumors out there.
I read that Kimbo beat Wes Sims in his first match and then got a controversial decision win over Roy Nelson.

Who do you believe?

Most forums I read say that was just a random guy acting like Wes Sims and not the real Wes Sims.
I doubt Sims is reall going to leak any real info unless he was booted out of the house and is bitterknowing his UFC career is dead. He signed a contract and I am sure keeping quiet was a huge part of the agreement. Sims is either still in the house or he was eliminated and is staying quiet.

Either way he is not talking. This Sims leak was just some idiot trying to get attention.
NOBODY BRUTALLY KO'S KIMBO.
NOBODY.:nono:

Damn, the Strikeforce card got helped out a lot with Affliction going down. Adding Babalu and Moussasi(spelling? I don't feel like looking it up).

That's a card I'm very excited about watching.

Yeah. I think Mousasi wants to fight in the UFC but he is still in the Super Hulk tournament in Dream and probably under contract to finish that tourney.
Look for him to sign with UFC at end of the year.

Report: Fedor Emelianenko, UFC ?Finalizing? Deal
Posted by Kris Karkoski on Jul 28, 2009 at 7:32 pm ET23 Comments

Fedor EmelianenkoAccording to the LA Times, citing an unnamed source with information on the negotiations, Fedor Emelianenko and the UFC are finalizing a deal that would see the top-ranked heavyweight compete inside the Octagon:

A long-awaited agreement between the Ultimate Fighting Championship and the man considered the world?s best mixed martial arts fighter, Fedor Emelianenko, is expected to be announced by UFC President Dana White on Friday, a source with information about the negotiations told The Times today.

The source, who asked not to be identified because he?s not authorized to speak publicly about the dealings, called negotiations between the UFC and Fedor ?very civil? just days after Fedor?s scheduled Affliction Trilogy fight Saturday against Josh Barnett was canceled.

Take the report with a grain of salt, but if things are finalized and Fedor agrees to fight in the UFC, a heavyweight title bout against Brock Lesnar is up first for ?The Last Emperor?.

M-1 Global Denies Report; Says Fedor Emelianenko, UFC Not Close to Deal
Posted by Kris Karkoski on Jul 28, 2009 at 11:24 pm ET16 Comments

Fedor EmelianenkoM-1 Global?s Apy Echteld on Tuesday denied an LA Times report that the UFC and Fedor Emelianenko were close to finalizing a deal, telling SI.com?s Josh Gross that the report was ?not accurate? while offering few details on the top heavyweight?s next fight:

?I can give you a guarantee it?s not accurate,? said Apy Echteld of M-1 Global, a St. Petersburg, Russia-based promotion and management company of which Emelianenko is an equity stakeholder.

Echteld declined to comment on negotiations between M-1 Global and the UFC, which are rumored to be taking place Tuesday in Los Angeles. He pointed to a press conference Wednesday in Anaheim, Calif., for ?important? news on Emelianenko?s fate.

The Wednesday press conference is being held for Fedor to ?discuss the ramifications of the cancellation, comment on his future in the fight game, and respond to questions from members of the media.?

Sounds like Fedor wants to try his luck with one of the elite fighters of M1 arsenal.
Just another chance for Kickserv to throw out his ducking the best.
Although I am still not that sure where the best really lie in the heavyweight division.

Oddsmaker: Action heating up for UFC 101

xxxxxxxxxxxxx betting analyst Frank Doyle looks at how people are betting on the UFC.

One of the most noticeable events in the world of sports booking in the past decade has been the rise in popularity of mixed martial arts. The sport has gone mainstream in a way that few people would have believed possible 10 years ago.

UFC 100 was as success as the company?s president, Dana White, had hoped. We made good business on the event and we?re looking forward to UFC 101 in Philadelphia on August 8.

There are 10 bouts on the card for Declaration and we have action on them all, but two are proving particularly popular.

The lightweight championship fight between Kenny Florian and BJ Penn has caught the attention of MMA bettors. Both men have come down in weight for the bout, but Penn is a former lightweight champion. He opened as the favorite and we?ve cut the line on him since the fight went on the board.

The other marquee matchup is the light-heavyweight bout between Brazil?s Anderson Silva and Forest Griffin of the USA. Griffin is a popular fighter but his price has drifted since the fight was posted. We?re seeing a lot of action on Anderson Silva, whom we have listed at -400, and shortening.

It?s an interesting matchup, because in boxing moving up a weight is normally a recipe for disaster. But the money is coming in on Silva. It?s clear that there is now a growing demographic of bettors who are UFC literate and realise that the new boss (MMA) is not like the old boss (boxing).

We?re seeing action on two undercards as well. There?s interest in the fight between Jesse Lennox and Danillo Villefort, and between Matt Riddle and Dan Cramer. The action on these undercard fights is interesting, because they show how UFC-savvy the bettors now are, and how closely they follow the fighters.

We?ve over a week to go until UFC 101 and we expect to see much more money in UFC bets before the fighting begins in Philadelphia.
