Don't you think the Steelers sit key players if the Ravens win? What do they have to gain? Don't you think the book increases the spread if the Ravens win?
I don't understand why they scheduled the games like they did. Suppose the CLE/BAL game was played late and the Steelers game played early. In that case if the Steelers lost the Ravens would be able to rest players. I think both games should have been played at the same time.
What am I missing?
Jack...you bring up a good point. Personally, I think Tomlin wants a win, regardless of the circumstances. They have lost 3 games in a row, giving up 30 points per game. That's no way to enter the playoffs. I might be wrong, but I'm betting they go after this one with all they got. And hey...if they sit Russel Wilson, that might be an upgrade.
And your second point is very valid...if the Ravens win (if? 20 point fav...lol), the Books very well could increase the spread. But then again, I think they have already taken that in account with the current line...then, if the Cleveland Stinks would somehow happen to win...then you would see the big adjustment in the line.
