Alright - who do you guys need to hack it up tomorrow.

I will be out at the Kemper and will gladly heckle - whoops I mean follow a golfer or two
wink.gif

On a serious note - I like Mickleson over Leonard at -175 the price is a bit high, but Mickleson is pissed after last week and he is really focused on getting another chance to finish out on Sunday. He will skip the Memorial so a bad showing here would not taste good on his 2/3 weeks off.

Also, the rough is pretty nasty out there with all the recent rain and Mickleson has a huge advantage with his distance over Leonard. I don't expect Leonard to see as much of the rough as Mick, but at least Mick will have short irons out of the thick stuff instead of the long iron that Leonard will have on any missed fairways.

Another plus - the 2nd hole is 600 Phil can get there Justin can't. The 6th a short par 5 for Phil not an easy reach for Justin. Same goes with the 13. Huge par 5 advant for Phil.

Gay is out? Interesting, when looking at sportingodds a couple of days ago they did not have him - how did they know first?

The correct odds blokes have Barlow listed at about 75 Dogs, so almost DYM on him, sounds reasonable that.

Sorry Anders!

My take: Good odds on Leonard, but this is one that is decided by Mickelson. If he wants to win this event and can ignore the voices, he will win it. I have a play on Perry, but it is more a leap of faith than valid reasoning so I wouldn't bother with hime against Stricker. The one that appeals to me most is Lowery over Roberts. Neither in the form of their life, but at Roberts' age then the drive can be missing when the game is missing. He also does not have a great recent record here, whereas Lowery was 2nd last year.

See Racing Post has Baddeley as the headline selection in the Kemper, which is strange for them as they usually go for players around the 10/1 mark!!
Baddeley is not a player I want to oppose. I was very impressed with him at the Belfry.

Simon Bold have mysteriously lost the Ames/Gamez match up!

adding one final 1st rounder and siding with Stan on Perry -105 over Ames @ 5dimes
Hate to have both 1st rounders opposing same player but even with Perrys poor late form he is 2nd out of gate today and Ames go off late.Mediocre round should put him in the ballpark.

1st round update: 4-1-0 and +2.95 units

Good start to the week with only Funk losing from today's matches: he lost by two to Allenby. The winners were Perry over Ames by seven, Flesch over Stankowski by three and over Toledo by two, and Janzen over Mayfair by two. The 72-hole matches stand 3-5-0 after 18 holes: Ames/Gamez 3 down; Triplett/Appleby 4 down; Howell/Baddeley 1 down; Quigley/Baddeley 1 up; Carter/Daly 1 up; Funk/Herron 2 down; Lowery/Herron 1 up; and Perry/Herron 3 down. With both Hoch and Triplett very much in contention, there have been worse starts to the week!

Welcome back Ian

Lickliter -130 over Brooks
Hate laying those odds but Brooks hit every fairway today and they tied at -2,can't see him repeating that effort.

2nd round: adding
Triplett -105 over Appleby

40% chance of rain in afternoon leaving lots
confused.gif

will throw 3ball combo for 1/2 unit @ S.B.
Sposa-Triplett-Watts-Lowery $10 for $323
1st 3 are morning pairings. If they come through will hedge afternoon Lowery 3ball by placing 3 units each on Dimarco and Carter.
