Been there many times, ask away.
Stepping out for the night, but will answer any questions you have tomorrow.
What do you do there?
Looks nice.
Yes and had an excellent time there! Went with the family a few years back around New Years. We actually celebrated new years in the hotel lobby, which turned out to be a lot of fun.
The Fairmont is a gorgeous hotel with a ton of history. Hard to believe, but the pictures don't even do it justice. The scenery is breathtaking. Obviously, I was there in completely different weather than in September, so I'm not sure how my experience would compare. We mostly skied/snowboarded, skated on the lake and snowshoed. But, my parents told me they went during springtime and really enjoyed themselves. Lots of wildlife and scenery to take in, plus there's a pretty neat saloon in the bottom floor of the hotel that shows NFL and other american sports.

Thinking about flying into Toronto and taking the rail across the country to see as much as we can.
That is a long long long trip, just sayin'
And if you are flying into Toronto Pearson International Airport, take a couple days and check out Toronto before you leave, the city rocks.
And hey if you want some adventure before your long trip, go here:

Oh and by the way if you are taking a train trip all the way to Alberta, why not take it all the way into BC? I mean if you are going that far, might as well go all the way:shrug:
3 days and 4 nights on the rail may be too much.....lol, where should we fly into ? We want to see the scenic views of the country side. That's why I started this thread, any advise is welcomed. Planning a 10 day trip :0008
You better think this out.
