I did this back in my marine corps days. the only problem that we had with it was you get the burps and all gassy about 3/4 of the way through from sucking down all that air with the shots.

Although I hate beer my roommates in college made me do this and I am an official member of the century club. So brutal.
Cross bet. You set the golf match up. I'll face in you in century club the next night. If we both hit 100 we keep going till someone else stops or misses their shot.
I might have a course that would be willing to accommodate up here (Old Oak Country Club in Homer Glen, IL). My friend's family owns it but I'd be willing to come down there as well if we get the specifics together. I'm actually excited about this I hope it goes.

Jack - as marine mentioned, doing it by the shot on each and every minute makes it a lot tougher.
I have attempted this three times. Got to 82 once then started slipping.
Have seen guys finish, but I never was able to.
safrank - if you are 100 pounds overweight, i would like some action on walking four rounds in one day and shooting under 100 playing by strict PGA rules as long as we can agree on a course.

I have two courses in mind and they are both over 6400 yards from the tips. Jack said he needed a couple of days but I am interested. I keep an honest, PGA rules score. So once we can hash out the details its on like Donkey Kong.

Still like to do it. There are two problems I see: A) I'm a fat bastard and B) I need to have no traffic, I mean if I run into a league or something on the 4th round that would be uber gay
we did a variation of the century club in college. It was called Power 109, we did a shot of beer every minute while watching Animal House which is 109 minutes long. I was able to get through it, barely. A few people threw up towards the end of it.
Saying "uber" and "gay" in the same sentence is bad enough....but for those words to be placed one right after the other is simply.........
