Saint, I don't know either you or Gatorbait however I have learned something over my almost half-century of life. Don't spout off in the middle of a conversation if you haven't followed the discussion prior. It doesn't take all day and, quite frankly, if it's "drivel", why did you bother at all?
MJ's is still a fun place to come read funny, light-hearted stuff from a fun group of guys/gals. Perhaps we're not the ones who have changed..... or, more likely, some people just don't have the stones to logically back up their argument with facts and not emotion, then become royally pissed at the world when they're called on it!

U R right guys, it all started 3 years ago for a DWLS and a felony poss. Since that time and $$$ spent on one of the best attorneys in town and 5 felony VOP's with new charges each time for a grand total of 28 charges including 9 fel. I feel lucky to be where I'm at today. This place has gone off the chain. 36 years and never arrested and now the last 3 years 7 times. Think before moving to Pinellas County.adlock:
The guy violated parole 5 times. Where am I supposed to feel sorry for him?! At the end he complains how he didn't get caught for 36 years and then all of a sudden he did, not that he wasn't abusing the law over that time. This is the same type of guy that if he went out 1 more time and ended up killing someone and it made the news, you all would be calling him a deadbeat too. Spare me. People have the right of forgiveness but at some point (say, maybe, after the 6th arrest) you stop forgiving and ask where the personal responsibility here. Silly me, I forgot MJs is a place full of people with woe is me stories who are reluctant to take the blame for their lot in life. Hopefully, you'll never have to know someone who's life was taken by a person like this with a blatant disregard for the law and people around him. If you ever do, then maybe you'll understand.

I've personally been affected by this issue, if you can't see that then you're blind. It struck a nerve.
When I posted my original off the cuff remark, he had not yet posted that he was clean and in the mindset to make a change. From his original two posts, well, it's pretty hard to sense any sort of regret or desire for change, just regret he had been caught. I missed his post about being clean and so I'm happy he is on the upswing. We are all mortal men and it's human to judge, I never claimed to be the Almighty as you referenced. I judge through my own life experiences, as do the rest of you. If you read this through my eyes then you may feel the same way. Regardless, think what you may this is a two dimensional msgboard.
