So as not to greatly upset the many girlfirends and/or wives of Madjack Members who are in the Poker Series, A decision has been Made to move the Final Major Tournament from Next Wednesday (Valentine's Day) to the following Wednesday, February 21st, at the same time (9:30pm EST).

that doesn't seem fair, given that the adjusted schedule has been out there for over a week already. Some people have made the appropriate plans, based on the schedule presented.
For example, I'd already gotten "permission" to play on the 14th and will not be able to play on the 21st.
I don't feel this is correct to change this now when people have already planned around the original schedule. JMHO.

sorry mags, as not to have pressure put on phenom i agreed to the ruling and asked him to change the day. who would have been thinking about valentines day months ago when the schedule was set? it's definitely not a good night for most guys to get away to play poker.
It's ok, Jack. I guess I'll have to just concede my 2nd place position if I do end up missing the final tourney. Good luck to the rest of you.

Phenom, I'm not quite sure that is correct. The lowest finish would be week 12 - in 10th place - which would be 10 pts off the total, assuming I somehow would finish in the top 10 in 2 weeks.....

I write down the list from Pokerstars and then review it from 1 through 10 and again from 10 to 1to make sure I don't screw up the placings. In Major III you finished in 10th place according to my stats, but received 20 pts because double points were awarded, thus the subtraction of 20 points should you finish in the top 10 in the Final tournament. I hope this clears things up.
Phenom - now I understand what happened in week 12. There was someone with the PS name of "Dr. Whitetail" that actually finished 7th, with Mrs. Madjack 8th, MJ 9th and me 10th.
You must have taken him out, and moved Mrs MJ up to 7th, MJ up to 8th and me up to 9th, and added in Turkshure into 10th.
I didn't realize that you had done that, but it all makes sense now....

Well, Good Luck All. It doesn't look like I will be playing in the final tourney Weds. I can't deposit any money to Poker Stars. This sux....
have you tried western union? It is expensive as far as fees go, but I have used it in the past and money is credited within 1 hr...
Was not able to try this so good luck all, I won't be playing tonight, couldn't fund account...
