i think they last forever :shrug:

except for the gasket but mine is 3 years old and still keeps accurate temps.

he's a S L O W cooker.

I have done a couple of the World Championship Cook Offs and learned to appreciate the ART of slow cooking.... there is nothing like food that is slow cooked for 8-12 hours and comes out perfect...just doesnt fit into my style of cooking being single and not cooking large amounts of food...but it is very hard to beat a steak or fish cooked at 700 degrees where you sear the outside and cook all the juices to the center :0074

I felt a little rough but woke at 5am, took a xanax, showered, had 3 cups of coffee, and went grocery shopping. I was back by 7am feeling just fine and ready for a big day of Bowl games, Budweiser, and spicy steamed shrimp.
