My wife really doesn't like picking up my beer for me. It's just not normally something I ask her to do. Well she was headed to run errands and I asked if she'd pick me up some beer for the games today.

I really don't have a go to beer BUT I will drink mostly anything. She'll be home around kickoff and I'm curious to see what she'll pick up. I half joked that she should run to the new brew pub in town and buy me a growler. That wont happen because she's not bringing the kids in a bar...

Any guesses fellas? I gave her no other input. Here are my guesses.

1) Coors Light
2) Bud Light
3) "Beer?...Crap I forgot"

Heading out shortly to meet up with Hawkeye and to watch some games over a couple of brews. :toast:

Have fun, gents!

Beer #1 while betting the ponies and getting ready for some playoff football....

Found a seasonal at the store today from Goose Island Brewing in Chicago.
A decent brew called ten hills pale ale. I'll give it a 7.5. Not as hoppy as I like and the flavor is a bit bland--after 6 or 8 of them, whodafukcares right??

I saw that swill Miller Lite was on sale at the store today when I got some beer--maybe its cheap up your way and she'll bring that home for ya....:0074

Is it a chain brewpub or a local joint? Wish I lived a little closer to the three in the quad cities--all brew some good beer, but I'm not driving 45 miles round trip for a couple growlers when I can drive 20 miles round trip to Clinton and score some good beers there....

Cheers!

#2-- I was really wanting that first beer....:mj07:

Not a chain. A brand new local brew pub. She's home. The moment of truth...
