A film by the name of Blue Velvet.
Starring Dennis Hopper, Isabella Rossellini, Kyle MacLachlan, and Laura Dern. Came out in 1986--very much a cult film and a very strange cult film at that.
But every time I hear the word Heineken or Pabst Blue Ribbon, I gotta quote that line from Hopper.

And I'll still buy you one next time--you bought last time.....:toast:

Score. I over achieved in the wife department. One of my customers is a different local brew pub. She stopped there and picked me up some Irish Ale!

Did you see where WIlliam Hurt is supposed to play Gregg Allman in his life story when they make the movie?
I dunno--I really like William Hurt as an actor, but I just don't see him as Gregg....
Will see the movie regardless--wife bought me My cross to bear for Xmas but I haven't started reading it yet...

That's going to hurt seeing William portray Gregg.
He was a drug addict for some time so maybe that will help him :mj07:
I'm not a big fan of Mr Hurt would've prefered Val Kilmer aka Jim Morrison :0074

I've had the Allman Brothers greatest hits forever. But I am just now really getting into them. I bought the disc after my college buddies took me to a cover band in Milwaukee. I thought I was messed up BEFORE I got there.

Kilmer has got that edge to him that I just don't see in Hurt. And so what if Hurt was a dope fiend? He comes across as an elitist douchebag--he probably only snorted his smack instead of shooting it like all the good dope fiends do....:mj07:
And Hurt's too damn old--you can make people look old, not so easy making them look young....
