It arrived just fine today!...Many thanks!...worked great after I booted it up in recovery mode and ran some fixes...but it is an AT+T version, can't use it on my Verizon network - tho I will be able to swap it for a Verizon model pretty soon!

In the meantime, the big amoled screen is great for wifi surfing. Previous post by me in this tread was done with it thru tapatalk!

Yep, Woody, the phone is great fun to play with, and I gotta learn the ins and outs of the Galaxy S series. I am downloading Kies now, to install the latest firmware... I have all my apps already on it (automatically loaded up from google account) and stuff works waaay better than the clunky old Motorola Droid! I use the apps a lot on wifi just lounging around here....soon I'll swap it for a Verizon model and Awaaay We Go!...thanks again!

glad you got it. Sorry for the delay! samsung galaxy series is awesome. I still am mind blown that I used to pay 100 bucks for a 1 meg of memory on a 486 pc and phones now are superior to computers from ten years ago. Also, Skype works well on it for vide conferencing while you are out traveling and visiting new Diners! Cheers fellas! :toast:
